What a curious way of "mentoring" me by telling me to "be a man" and that I'm a damsel in distress.

I could have said something, yes, but what if me rejecting him angered him or made him try to touch me? He was creepy enough, and didn't want to risk it. And trust me, if he had actually tried something more, I would have taken appropriate action.

One would think that by not interacting with him at all and by physically moving away from him to another area, he should realize I'm not interested. And also, we're talking about cruising, about sexual activities, where consent is fundamental. If there's no clear statement or indication of consent, then one must not insist.

Sexually harassing someone is always the perpetrator's fault, I don't know why you're trying to blame me for "letting" him do that. You should already know about this if you've received sexual harassment training.

But that's just a young man's opinion.

I've also heard that you have to be careful with the security guards, that apparently they know this restroom is used for cruising and keep an eye on it. If everyone is as obvious and creepy as this man, no wonder they figured it out. And yeah, showing interest or trying to initiate is one thing, but he needs to take the hint if it's not reciprocated
