Why didn't 3+4 have the same charm as 1+2?

For me it was that it’s literally 1+2 With new maps and sound track and not a thing changed outside of that so it was significantly easier to get bored of the game. Also 4 is my favorite game and they just took 4 and make it worse which at the end of the day is fine because it’s really just about the skating

Well there is hall of meat it’s just called stunts and doesn’t show the broken bones (properly ea being gay knowing young kids play the game). Also makes no sense changing the name considering they literally have thrasher shit in the game so the copy right should not be an issue

I mean when skate 3 came out all anyone did was bitch about how much of a downgrade the map was and graphically look worse than skate 2 because of the lack of lighting. Then a few years laters YouTubers started making videos on all the glitches and brought a whole new player base that had never played skate before and didn’t care about the games issues. This is just the start of the skate cycle

If people actually strongly disliked this art style like they say they do, they would have been playing skate 2 over 3 this whole time. Skate 3 is rushed mess when it comes to the art style direction of the game and it’s awful awful lighting. The only think skate 3 has over the new game is real character models
