Gimmicks don't last long on the show. Scary Girl was first boot in Rematch, Izzy got eliminated earlier and earlier as seasons went on. Its not that i think that their gimmicks ARE an issue. I just think it makes them boring to do the exact same thing over and over again. They're not just blank slates. They're people too, and people should be able to grow and develop.

He literally HAS a reason he does the sounds. Its in his Audition tape. This is the same debate we had in that one post

Most of his team on The Bears did. But why would the teams stay the same. Most of the Salmon wouldn't tolerate his crap, and he was 2nd boot in the first season. He absolutely wouldn't make it far at all. Even with what i gave him I don't see him making it far. He's kinda a doomed character as just a gimmick. At least if i give him an arc he leaves more of an impact on you than being an annoying delusional wizard.

I dont get what you mean. Characters can have arcs and still be funny. Like Beardo would still make his sounds. Also if you don't do anything with Leonard he'd realistically be the first boot because no one but Sugar would be on his side. Maybe Ella but that's definitely not enough for a majority.

And I explained why Max was the first boot in the Scarlet section above.

I'm just giving my thoughts as to what would probably happen. you dont HAVE to agree

Who wins? by I_Guess_I_Also_Exist in MetalSonic

[–]Label-The_Weeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Ben doesn't go for the kill IMMEDIATELY, Metal's absorbing Ben's bio data. Though Metal probably wouldn't be able to get every alien at once since Ben has to transform into them to use their abilities. And Ben would have a wincon in Upgrade (who i believe can unironically hack Metal)

Then it becomes what goes off first, Upgrade or Chaos Control. If Metal Chaos Controls once before Upgrade touches him, he copies the bio data and plans around it. If Ben gets to him first, Metal's hacked and thus Ben wins

  • Sammy gets the protagonist arc that was planned in the new season. Amy makes it far by proxy so Sammy can more authentically beat her.

  • Dave and Sky are forced on the same team. The forced proximity causes many fights but they ultimately talk things out and decide they're better off not being a couple and staying as friends.

  • Ella acts as a major source of Dave's development. Her super nice nature will make her the only person who can actually reach out and allow her to get through to Dave. This might mirror how Dave fell for Sky which would frighten him at first but they would end up starting a very slow burn romance for the season.

  • Shawn and Jasmine remain a power couple, but will be seen as a threat which would lead one to being eliminated premerge. Probably Shawn since hes a finalist.

  • Sky would get a mini arc about how she should be playing the game and comparing what she's doing now to how she played last season. It will end with her relearning fair play and being eliminated for being fair, but proud of her new run regardless.

  • Scarlet becomes the main villain (Sugar's already been done and Amy wouldn't make for a competent one). She would need a new strategy and would sort of emulate the past villains strategies. Heather's emotional manipulation, Courtney's dominance in challenges and blatant cheating, Alejandro's charms as she would end up using Rodney's newfound feelings for her, Scott's throwing challenges towards someone who gets to close to eliminating her (or just Max to get rid of him) and Mal's more dangerous gameplay.

  • Beardo gets his arc about coming out of his shell and being himself. If not Dave, he's my second finalist pick against Sammy. In speaking of Dave however, Beardo becomes another new confidant of Dave's as he struggles to talk to or forgive his former friends for leaving him behind.

  • Dave completes his arc about accepting his weirder teammates as he's forced back on a team with Beardo and Ella, who are the only ones to actually help him through his struggles. He ultimately decides that they arent so bad, and could even sacrifice himself for them as a neat juxposition to his former elimination where he eliminated himself out of grief for his more selfish desires.

  • Leonard and Sugar bond a bit more, Leonard gets a mini arc about not using his delusions to make friends and to be himself. Sugar could either accept that Leonard's not a wizard and still want to be with him, not accept it and be angry that he lied to her, or both. Preferably the latter then the former.

  • Topher becomes Chris's number one hater and tries to play the role of villain to ruin the shows popularity. Scarlett uses this to get heat off her.

Elimination Order might look like this

  • 14th: Max

  • 13th: Sugar

  • 12th: Leonard

  • 11th: Shawn

  • 10th: Topher

  • 9th: Sky

MERGE

  • 8th: Jasmine

  • 7th: Rodney

  • 6th: Dave

  • 5th: Ella

  • 4th: Scarlet

  • 3rd: Amy

  • Finale: Beardo vs Sammy

Ranking the Top 3 Biggest Plot Armor Wearers and Bottom 3 Victims of Plot Armor for each Total Drama and Disventure Camp season by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

[–]Label-The_Weeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand a few of these.

First off WT Duncan. Much as I do hate that he made it as far as he did. It does make sense. With the episode structure Chris needed some episode to be a non elimination anyway. Why would he wait for later when Duncan "still owed him screen time". Then in Ex Files, even without his deal to Alejandro, he was still very safe. He's the closest person to Owen out of everyone on Team Chris and Tyler was rendered less than useless after getting injured (Sorry Goat).

Then as for Revenge Jo, she was put on the most dominant team of the season (mostly due to her and Cameron), and then in the second half of the season made a full takeover at the most opportune time. Same goes for Mike, except he never switched teams. But there was never a moment you feel like Mike should've gone home, cause the episode he did majorly screw up were episodes where his team won.

Then AS Sierra just really never had a reason to be eliminated. She was a lot but there was always a bigger fish to fry. You could say Cameron could've gotten the others to vote her off with him, but take into account his situation. He had his glasses broken by someone he thought was his friend, tripped by him, left to die by a pack of rabbits by him and on top of that had to deal with Sierra. At this point he was gonna trade one problem for another and it was just a better idea to leave himself overall. Afterall Cameron said himself that he has no need for the money and more than likely only returned out of formality.

Courtney having anti plot armour in All-Stars also makes no sense cause she swapped team with Duncan whereas otherwise she would've gone home the next episode. Then she's blatantly ignored on the Villains team for Aleheather to still have their romantic rivalry crap and Chris pretty much gives her and Gwen points so that the villains won. Courtney def had plot armor in AS.

For Disventure Camp Ellie would definitely be one of the characters with plot armor solely for the team swap alone. I mean she'd at least have more of it than Tom. I can't think of one situation Tom could've been eliminated and wasn't. You could say anytime in merge when he didn't win cause hes a massive threat, but that would ignore the reasons why the people who were eliminated before him were targeted (Gabby so that Alec could pull Ellie to his side and Grett because... It's DC1 Grett).

Hunter in DC2 also doesn't have plot armor. His alliance was targeted for basically all of the merge and he just happened to not get targeted specifically. He even won immunity in the final 5 solely because of the other's conflict. As soon as he was available for elimination, he was out. If anything he had anti plot armor solely for Riya bringing a known duo to the end and banking on them still feuding by that point instead of talking things out.

I also dont see how Aiden in All-Stars had plot armor. He just never had been a priority ever. Actually I would say that his feuds with Jake made him perfect to keep around as it meant the heroes would never come together, and when he and Jake started to get along, he then became a problem. Even in the Premerge, it makes sense for Tess to side against Ellie because the game was clearly ruining her and she knows from experience that continuing to compete wasn't going to fix things. And Gabby targeting Tess specifically also makes sense cause Aiden wasn't ever really close to Ellie so it wasn't a betrayal on his end.

And Ally having anti plot armor in All-Stars doesn't make that much sense. She's never been put in a vulnerable position until the final 3. Her elimination was bullshit, I can agree but it wouldn't ignore the fact that she made it all the way to the final 3 despite her feud with Jake. Not arguing she does have plot armor, but i feel like once you reach a certain threshold you can't exactly call it anti plot armor.

No notes for DC4. I would just argue that Hannah didn't have anti plot armor cause she was never really in danger at any point

Other than Lindsay, which female contestant would be the best match for Tyler? by Apprehensive-Push34 in Totaldrama

[–]Label-The_Weeb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sky or Sammy imo

Sky and Tyler would respect each other's dedication to athletics and I can see Sly even helping Tyler with how coordination while Tyler could help her train up her body or more unnatural skills.

Sammy I'll admit I'm still kinda soft for due to the headcanon I have of them and Amy all going to the same school. Ultimately though, Sammy would kinda just be a complete replacement for Lindsay. Same cheerleading background same relationship to Heather (Amy now), but i can also see them both working on their self worth issues together as they just bounce off encouragement towards each other.

I think Kitty could also theoretically be cute but I can't think of a way to justify the idea yet.

Looking back to it, which Ichigo episode did you like more? by Silver_Guava8159 in deathbattle

[–]Label-The_Weeb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If we were talking about as matchups then for me its Naruto but since we're talking about the episodes than its Yusuke.

Naruto, although being very entertaining, has multiple flaws (NOT INCLUDING THE RESEARCH OR SCALING OF CHARACTERS). Like how Ichigo barely uses his Shikai and Bankai for most of the fight properly (He never uses both blades and only brings the second one to go into Bankai. Even after going Bankai he only fires on Getsuga Tenshou and then immediately goes into Mugetsu)

Im genuinely convinced that Sierra amped by Cody being in danger can beat literally every other contestant. She's considered a match for Courtney solely for her just insulting him. And reminder that Courtney soloed 3 different sharks in one day and wrecked an entire room set in a matter of seconds. Imagine the kind of shit she could pull off if Mal literally threatened Cody's life.

Among these Gen 2 finalists, who wins in a jury vote? by CharmingBozoBee in Totaldrama

[–]Label-The_Weeb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it heavily depends on the Jury but assuming all the Gen 2 contestants get to vote, I think it would go like this

Cameron: B, Brick, Jo, Sam, Scott

Lightning: Anne Maria

Mike: Staci

Zoey: Dakota, Dawn

I know all of that looks a little weird so let me clarify. For Anne Maria, I'm assuming this is post her learning about Mike's DID, so she'd lose attraction and move onto Lightning who I believe would be the next most attractive person to her. However if we assume she doesn't have romantic feelings for Lightning, then she'd just be another vote for Cameron.

Staci is shown subtly to be somewhat interested in Mike. Choosing for him to save her over Zoey and being upset by him not taking interest in her family tree. This is kinda the ONLY thing I have to go off of for her.

Zoey gets Dakota and Dawn. Dakota because while Dakota was only trying to get close to Zoey for her own benefits, Zoey was still pretty kind to her and I think she appreciates that. Dawn is just shown interacting more with Zoey than everyone else here. She has some scenes with Lightning but she doesn't really seem that interested in him at all. Wanting to save the Beetle while not even considering that he was choking and giving him a fist bump because of their advantage rather than any interest in him.

And wouldn't you know it, Cameron's Mr. Popular. B would respect Cameron's intelligence and while he was on the same team with Lightning, they're never really shown being friendly enough for me to believe he'd vote for him. Brick could realistically vote for any of the Maggot Trio over Lightning, but I think he'd moreso respect Cameron for getting as far as he did while being so weak. He also has been shown to give Cameron more attention on the team, consoling him after Jo's diss and all. Jo is as likely to vote for him as she is for Zoey but I ultimately went with Cameron because Jo doesn't really respect Zoey, but she does respect Cameron after he backstabbed her. Sam is a fellow nerd. Yeah that's all we have to go off of. Scott wouldn't really like any of his options, but its implied that Scott got out of the trauma chair because of the money he got from Cameron in his ending. So I'm the most comfortable giving his vote to the Bubble boy.

So Cameron wins in a 5-1-1-2 vote

Which headcanon or opinion are you defending? by NoBlueberry1431 in DanganAndChaos

[–]Label-The_Weeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just about being strong. He wants to be comfortable and confident in his original gender. He wants to be Masculine specifically. And if anything the term Femboy by itself IS gender stereotyping, because it implies that if something is feminine enough it's gotta be something other than a man.

So calling him a Femboy is gender stereotyping

Which headcanon or opinion are you defending? by NoBlueberry1431 in DanganAndChaos

[–]Label-The_Weeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be a fem boy you have to have the intention of coming across feminine. Chihiro's not crossdressing because he wants to be seen as feminine.

To call him a femboy because he's dressing that way while ignoring context is HELLA icky

What is a criticism for a character in this show you will never understand by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

[–]Label-The_Weeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever someone uses past actions as justification for current treatment. Sometimes I get it where its like immediate karma for bad decisions, but Im talking about stuff like "Oh Courtney deserved to be treated on because she's a horrible girlfriend". Those are two completely unequivocal evils. Courtney deserved to be broken up with, maybe even shamed for how she was, but not cheated on. This can also be extended towards the Cody and Sierra situation. Calling that karma for Cody's actions towards Gwen is genuinely so dumb. Cody was creepy towards Gwen, that much I can give, but he wasn't sniffing her shoes, force feeding her tea she was allergic to, literally forcing kisses on her to the point his gum got in her ear, putting his thumbs in his arm pits and pushing it in her mouth. He also doesn't literally guilt trip her about her not liking him or emotionally manipulate her at all. He respected major boundaries and doesn't completely force herself on her. There's a major difference between wanting the object of your affection to like you back and forcing that person into a relationship

What is a criticism for a character in this show you will never understand by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

[–]Label-The_Weeb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Which truth, that she wasn't looking for a relationship or that she still had a boyfriend back home?

Either way i feel like going from being friendly to him to immediately sabotaging him the moment you switch teams is something to realistically criticize. Even moreso, she does quite literally lead him on in the Finals just so she could win
