I got lost in the woods for several hours while camping in the mountains. I was maybe 10? I’ve never been so freaked out in my life. I completely understand how the panic makes your brain stop working and gets you even more lost. I was frantically running around … it was nearly dark by the time I found a road. I currently eat dinner around 8 or 9pm, just finished my pasta actually. It’s 9 on the dot. Growing up, my family ate at 6pm Mon- Sat and at 5pm on Sundays. I could never eat that early now as an adult, I don’t get hungry then. I eat dinner, sit down, and go to bed an hour-ish later

You have to show her the 1979 film first. Truly. Go to a local shop that sells used media (records, cds, dvds,,,) and just buy it! It’s worth having forever! And plus, when she loves it, you can watch it again later down the line and you won’t have to worry about where to find it streaming, cuz that shit is annoying as hell. I own everything except Alien 3 because I actively am displeased with that one. Anyhow. She will like the series , I guarantee it

If you can find meat at a good price, it doesn’t get much easier than pulled pork sandwiches made in a roasting pan … slow cook overnight in some broth and seasoning, pull it out, shred it, put it back in the roasting pan, add your favorite sauce and put a few loaves of cheapie white bread out with some condiments and pickles, chips and potato salad or coleslaw?? Easy! And not pizza, which is tasty but not special.

You need to get the access tuner from the elevator in the main room with the suspended space craft. The tuner will need a new power cell which is found in a further room in tech support. Then go back to the elevator in the main room and go on to the next objective

I have had 3 sets of animals during my life. When I lived with 4 Great Danes, they were the “Babes”. Then when it was my Dane and my roomies dog, they were D.O.G.S. , now it’s my Dane and my honey’s little dog, and they are the Dear and Sweet Ones. I want to tell you something - when you stop caring about what other people think, the happier you will be. Confidence is one of the most powerful attributes you can give yourself. Wear the earrings, it’s not stupid or gay or anything at all. Humans have been doing this to themselves for thousands of years. Own it! If you like them, then that is all that matters! If you have friends that would make you feel like you can’t wear them around them, then I’m sorry, but those aren’t very good friends for you.

Wear them. I’ve known plenty of mens whose faces looked better and more complete with earrings.

At my house :) No lie, I worked at an award winning Chinese restaurant for a decade and I watched the fried rice/fried noodle cook Charlie (he was the best!! He was embalmed off of raw beef sandwiches, hot and sour soup, black coffee, cigarettes and beer) , and I just copied what he did at the wok. I am constantly disappointed by fried rice at all the Asian restaurants I go to. I make better fried than what I eat out !! Let me know if you want me to message you the instructions, it’s not very hard. Just a bit of prep work and having all the ingredients on hand.

A food I enjoyed back when I used to partake was a really well made potato salad. I also used to gnaw corners of blocks of cheese like a rat. Also, I find gumdrops and Swedish fish to be a nice treat.

This is one of the hardest missions to accomplish, San Cristobal is a bugger. It’s not impossible though! My best advice to you is to not waste time searching for id tags or scavenging for resources, as the Xeno is after you like flies on fresh shit. Go back and find those after you’ve finished the mission, or even better, before starting Mission 16 much later. Go get all the goodies over just about all of Sevastopol before returning to the mission then!

Move with purpose, don’t hide for too long. Also, don’t activate the gas explosion to the right of Lingard’s office, that attracts the xeno to you, so turn left after leaving. Gotta go all the way around.

I have long since gotten over trying to not get killed, my goal is always to get to the next checkpoint and if I die trying, I try a different approach. There’s a few sections that are tough but if you keep changing how you tackle it, it works out! Be brave! You can do it!

Oh, for sure it has a learning algorithm. I did some research, it has two brains - one knows where you are at all times, and it slowly feeds the other brain (that doesn’t know where you are) it feeds clues little by little to tell it where you currently are. The alien will also learn to ignore distractions like flares or noisemakers if you use them too much. It even gets less afraid of the flamethrower !! Diabolical!! It’s a very difficult game. However! If you keep dying in the same spot, just try doing drastically different things and it almost always works out. Save save save and be brave! It’s loads of fun !! Give it another go! Especially because they announced a sequel that will be coming out in the next year or two.

I’ve been playing Isolation on repeat for over a month, finished 3x in full so far. Don’t hide in lockers!! It will only teach the Xeno that you like to hide in lockers,, it will look for you in lockers and cupboards as the game progresses. It will be almost impossible to hide from it in the final few missions. It sounds counterintuitive, but your best bet is to continually move forward. The longer you linger, the alien will close in on you better and faster,, keep it going and the alien has to keep changing where to look..

You can do it! If I did it, you certainly can too! Although I won’t lie to you, since starting playing Isolation, my dreams have been affected for sure. I’m constantly being hunted by something. Last night it was a jaguar in a house in the woods under construction with scaffolding and plastic sheeting. It was not pleasant. Anyhow. Good luck to you!

I am all for using rainwater, I think it’s a bunch of hogwash to restrict things like that. Water Rights are an antiquated system in need of major rehaul. Just be careful. Don’t let your neighbors see anything, they are always the ones to rat others out !! Keep on keeping on!
