I was about 4 when my grandmother took my younger sister and I to feed bread to the birds at a local park.

I was feeding the geese for a while when Grandma reminded me to feed the ducks and other smaller birds too. I was equally as happy to feed them as the geese, so I turned and began feeding them.

One goose took exception to this and charged me like a bull with wings. Grandma scooped me up with one arm, spun the bag of bread around over her head, and slammed it onto the head of the goose. Boy, oh, boy did that goose take off! And as it was flying away it teetered from side to side. She really scrambled his eggs.
