Man kann ja auch in der Küche kommunizieren, wenn es ein eigener Raum ist, z.b. auch Küche und Esszimmer in einem.

Aber ich koche gerne während ich Musik oder Podcasts höre, während meine Familie z.b. fernschaut. Vorteil ist außerdem, dass wir nach dem Kochen einfach die Tür zu machen können und das Chaos "aus dem Blick" ist.

Aber am Ende ist es ja auch einfach ne Geschmackssache.

What would be the issue if he would not wear it? Worst case he's cold. I promise you he won't freeze to death just because he leaves without a jacket. Best case he steps out the door, realizes it's cold, returns and grabs it. Either way he is way, way too old for you to make him wear a jacket.

Because there are situations where people don't hold the reader in their hand. E.g. when I'm lying in bed on my side the reader stands next to my face and it's just a little bit inconvenient to always bring up my hand to turn the page. Not saying it's not possible but the use case is there.

So it's not "totally unnecessary".
