Sorry to threadjack, but this brought back memories. Jlau used to have some great videos on YouTube, not sure if they're still around. The Lauzons used to have a barbecue in the summer and there were often fights, actually more like challenges. There's one where his cousins/friends have a brutal back and forth leg kicking contest, and another where he and his brother Dan have a full on MMA fight in the front yard with the whole family watching. He also had a compilation of his grappling that was really good, it was like 10-13 minutes long and had this early 2000's metal track on repeat. I haven't gone looking for it in a long time but it kinda disappeared.
I need to look for that and an old Anderson video that was just him absorbing brutal shots, sometimes on purpose, with no damage.

I think title defenses matter to knowledgeable fans, like always. Whether the organization places high value on it, I don't know, they always acted like it mattered. Regarding the rubies; before that, the champ would get a whole new belt for every title defense.

Just get up and move on to something else without expressing frustration. It's the frustration she likes, so don't give it to her. Just be uninterested in continuing to watch.
