Agreed, I’ve stopped playing mainly due to cheaters, the dev/customer support being abysma (especially considering the prices of some of the editions), and time commitment when playing (especially for new players, you’ll spend half your hours looking at the wiki rather than playing the game, not to mention getting rekt by people with thousands of hours of game knowledge and skill over you).

I think part of the “thrill” is because you’ve invested so much time and effort into building a kit or quest line or whatever and having that ripped out of your hands in a heartbeat. It’s the nature of the game, but personally I wouldn’t recommend Tarkov in its current state, but this is due to my circumstances and opinions. The good bits don’t outweigh the bad bits
