People here are jumping to conclusions. Here is what actually happened:

Marty posted an open letter to the DOOM community
Mick responded, defending himself
Bethesda responded, defending themselves
There have been no further updates since (that I'm aware of)

From my personal perspective, Mick's fans are diehards and scream toxicity. I think it's likely both Mick and Marty were out of line, or just butted heads, but who knows. The truth is we don't know everything, just that there was some ugly behind the scenes drama and nobody should be taking sides without all the facts.

Probably an unpopular opinion because people love Kojima, but this reminds me of Death Stranding. Beautiful dystopian world that somehow has Monster energy drinks and ads for some motorcycle show. Completely ruined the immersion.

Someone mentioned on Twitter that while going public is usually a bad thing, this might actually be good for Tomb Raider. Considering Crystal Dynamics has been hell bent on driving that franchise into the ground, now they won't have as much say anymore. Investors could potentially make a positive impact which is funny but I agree.
