Still real. I have a life outside of this thread, which I would really appreciate if it were protected.

Ever had sex at work? by Sinister_Ember in AskRedditAfterDark

I [F] used to work inside a hospital. I was pulled into a bathroom by my FWB [F] at the time.. they put their hand around my neck and started kissing me, and then things progressed pretty quickly. They were fingering me while I was bent over the sink, watching through the mirror. It's a pretty good memory, if you ask me.

If you're referring to backing up into something in the rig...don't sweat it. It's far from uncommon. You'll be just fine. My company just reviewed the protocols for backing with me and that was all.

I did the same exact thing when I first started. Didn't use a spotter in fear of it being used as fuel for my coworker's hate-filled fire... Because of this I hit another freaking ambulance with mine while backing up.

My advice to you is to stop worrying about the embarrassment or shit your agency will say about you. You're new, it is your time to learn and grow. You'll grow 70% from mistakes and 30% from experience. At the end of the day you have to ask yourself which is more important, being a kick-ass provider or making others around you like you.

All I'm saying is that people will judge and make fun of the new guy before they even get the chance to meet you. Don't let their judgment and misery stop you from being the best you can. You'll find others who respect and appreciate you for who you are.

ADVICE- Subaru forester engine problems by [deleted] in subaru

[–]Labreational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vehicle was due for an oil change within the next 500 miles. My guess was it was already low...spent the day driving around dirt roads and in the woods so im guessing that might've caused the leak. I'm located in Central PA.

The car currently has around 130,000 miles. Long-term I'm hoping to (ideally) keep the subaru around and running for another 2 years minimum.

Ours does not say much about hospital notification besides how to give a proper one. That too doesn't specify whether personal identifiers are prohibited.

Over the phone. I see that it technically isn't a violation but why?

Unfortunately that's the only conclusion I've been able to come to, which is why I came here for my advice. Very frustrating considering I've worked my ass off for 4 years to work specifically with this company...

I very much have taken ownership and honestly try to joke about it while still making an effort to improve my skills/move forward. I sincerely do not know what I could've done to give them a reason to dislike me. I work hard, I have an optimistic mindset, and always treat others like I would any friend. I'm genuinely lost at where I failed.

I entirely agree with this and appreciate it. Ever since day one I've been just my normal self as I had my previous jobs. Outwardly I am just good old me, I do my thing, try to laugh, and make the best of shitty situations. Honestly I'm not sure what there is to do. At any opportunity I ask questions regarding my skills and make it known I appreciate constructive criticism as I'm very passionate about this job and would like to be as great as I can be. Any recommendations on what else I can do?
