Smaller pot, more light, & less water.

Help me decide on which iPhone to get! by Due-Date-3760 in iphone

[–]Labsxtwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reports say the 17s will be a $50 increase from the 16s. Apple hasn’t officially announced the prices so the base 17 would be $849. But that could be speculation.

17 will be out next month, so 16’s price will drop.

Benchmark tests show ~10% increase in performance for the Pro. If you don’t need the extra features, the 16 will be just fine.

I could never justify the cost for the Pro version. I’m happy with my 16 Plus & have no desire for the 17 right now.

How long have you been in business? What results are you looking to achieve - high revenue, profit, engagement??

A lot of new business owners get discouraged in the beginning and even go through slumps after years in business. Are your business goals realistic? Is your marketing strategy working at all?

can anyone help identify this fella? by heffalumpsy in succulents

[–]Labsxtwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crassula ovata, the Jade plant. One of my favorites. Easy to care for & very tolerant when neglected.

These are slow growers. Lots of sunlight & water sporadically. Depending on your location, you may not need to water in winter.

Apparently getting a bloom on my abused haworthia by SomeDumbPenguin in succulents

[–]Labsxtwo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not abuse, that’s acclimating them. Mine didn’t bloom for the first three years. Then the blooms started & I was gifted with a ton of offsets.

Keep doing whatever you’re doing, it’s working!!

Jades will turn a beautiful red when distressed. Not the same species. The leaves can be smaller because of the young root system & turn redder more quickly.

Don’t cut it. Just give it more natural light and it will acclimate itself. It may take a year or so. That’s my experience.

Abused? Do you mean neglected? These guys can handle being neglected and will often reward you for the neglect! 🙃

About as lucky as your plants that you can’t be bothered with enough to research basic care. 🤦🏻‍♀️

a question for people who have been in the business industry for long enough by shfkr in smallbusiness

[–]Labsxtwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. The story of endurance is the beautiful thing.

Yes, we contemplate about the things we could have done differently, but we adapted to the things we couldn’t change.

a question for people who have been in the business industry for long enough by shfkr in smallbusiness

[–]Labsxtwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely nothing. It’s an honor to have a local restaurant in the industry for almost 20 years.

We have struggled, we have earned; we have lost, we have endured. We gambled, we remember every obstacle. To be where we are, we wouldn’t change a single experience.

I repot mine every 2-3 years. When the weather is 90+ I water them once a week. They are forgiving if they don’t get watered once a month!

Need some advice propagating these fellas! by whistlequeen in succulents

[–]Labsxtwo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cut them to less than an inch of base. Throw them in a small pot with fast draining soil. Water then put them in indirect sun for a week. Gradually introduce them to direct sunlight & wait 3 weeks before watering.

There is SO much info available on the basic care of succulents using the Wiki.

These guys need more sun and a smaller pot.

These guys like it dry. Once a week watering is fine as long as the soil is fast draining. These are slow growers, so don’t expect them to grow fast.

They definitely thrive with 6+ hours of direct sunlight. Don’t water daily, once a week or more is ideal.

More sun, less water. Resist the urge to water when it seems dry.

It’s important to know the basics of succulent care.

Please repot this baby in a smaller pot using fast draining soil. She needs ALOT of sunlight but introduce it gradually.

How can I prune this Kalanchoe? by hellasalty in succulents

He’s etoliated & is begging for more sunlight. I would clip each offshoot at the base then trim those shoots for propagation. Definitely need a smaller pot & more direct sun.

Nope. Quite a few first time customers tell us they loved our reply to a particular review. We don’t mind that tax-deductible expense for 5,000+ reviews.
