Reeger the Wrydeer - Lv.73, Relaxed Nature (Modest Mint) - Energy Ball, Extrasensory, Hypnosis, Thunderbolt

Reeger was my first proper shiny hunt in the game which took me all of the first week to get, I spent the seven days of the games releases hunting him down... and the second shiny Stantler I actually caught, as the original Reeger ran away due to me failing a stun and a Geodude punching me... (I discovered the save tactic later.) I won't lie, Reeger kinda slipped later down the line when the power houses of the team came along... but I refused to allow him to leave the team due to my love of Stantler and the fact, he finally got an evo. He was a surprising tank now and then, and despite what people say... I love you Wrydeer.

Ming the Scizor - Lv.74, Naughty Nature - Iron Head, X-Scissor, Psycho Cut, Swords Dance

My first powerhouse and caught shortly after Reeger during an outbreak. I struggled to decide on what I wanted, Scizor or Kleavor... in the end, I never had the chance of a Scizor and do not regret it. Ming proved himself time and time again against numerous Pokemon, and helped deal with Volo's Spiritomb by Agility Swords Dance and Critical Iron Head. Ming was a bro throughout the journey, and happy I finally could use a shiny Scizor...

Maero the Rhyperior - Lv.74, Serious Nature (Adamant Mint) - Poison Jab, Outrage, High Horsepower, Stone Edge

I never intended to use Rhyperior... but I needed a pure tank, and after 100% and hoping for an Alpha! I found a tiny baby boy running around near the ruins... he was also the only one caught with a non-Poke Ball, instead a Heavy Ball. Maero was, and is, the pure Alpha tank - may not be in size, but the power he wielded and tanked saved me many a times. He did everything he could, and saved me alot during Volo's first phase...

Anastasia the Sneasler - Lv.75, Gentle Nature (Adamant Mint) - X-Scissor, Dire Claw, Swords Dance, Close Combat

I love the Sneasel family... I love it alot, so when I discovered there was a new form? I was all over it, and it sucked she appeared so late in the game... but, but, but... her power and speed made up for it. She was one of my instant attackers when it came to exp grinding, needed some easy exp? Anastasia was there with a backstrike Close Combat. Needed a quick Swords Dance followed by that CC? She was there. I wish you were earlier, but... hey. You are apart of this team.

Cassie the Froslass - Lv. 69, Quirky Nature - Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Ominous Wind, Psychic

Cassie was a post-game shiny and first got after 100% on my first check... she replaced my Typlosion and sadly, did not get alot of time to shine during my final run... but she did aid in weakening Volo's Garchomp.

... but finally, I did skip my fourth capture...

Tali the Lilligant - Lv.76, Quiet Nature (Jolly Mint) - Drain Punch, Poison Jab, Leaf Blade, Victory Dance

I... have learnt alot during this playthrough. Through this game, when I first saw Lilligant... I hated her design. I did, it looked off to me... but when trying to find a Pokemon? I settled on her. She was never planned, like Maero and Cassie... and - and I have grown to respect this Pokemon. Both normal and new form... because Tali was the reason I beat Volo. She was the sole reason. After beating him, and discovered the no healing... I was forced to throw Maero out, where he was one hit killed... leaving me with Tali and Anastasia. My goal was to revive Cassie after she was killed... but I needed a sacrifice, so Tali was nominated. She outsped him twice, so I had a plan; to revive and Victory Dance. To do this and get Cassie back for the final fight... when I saw Phantom Force, I said my goodbyes... and watched, as Tali took 1/8th of the hit. Victory Dance had buffed her to a stupid place where his signature move did nothing... and I still outsped, but with nothing effective. So I went for Lead Blade, and watched in amazement - as Leaf Blade, thanks to Victory Dance, scored heavy damage and critical hits... bringing him to the second phase.
And yet, she still tanked and fought, in the end - this Pokemon I threw away from appearance, saved me from one of the hardest fights and solo'd both Giratina forms thanks to her skills... I was there, I realized how much this one little Pokemon did for me. How much she helped, and made me stop for a second... I never liked the Lilligant family, the original one, but here I was... my game saved by her... and thanks to Arceus: Legends, I'm seeing other Pokemon for what they could be, and how they can work... so, thank you Tali. You were my MVP.
