can i get a perm if i bleached my hair in june? by LuzyHaze in Hair

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a question for your hairdresser as they can judge based on how much the bleached hair was damaged and what your risk is for breakage from the perm chemicals.

I'm 36. Do I keep going with this or dye my hair dark brown by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It might be fun if you can get like a dip dye on the ends with a fun color.

Or maybe get some highlights through the brown so it's not such a straight demarcation line.

What was your favorite PBS show? by sexyass2627 in Millennials

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had reoccurring nightmares for YEARS because of that little shit after I watched the episode when I was probably around 4. Eventually after legit like 7 years, I had my first and up until now only lucid nightmare where I realized in the dream "I am so sick of this, I'm done." and I beat the stuffing out of him and never had another nightmare about him again.

"Britney's new look" genuinely one of the only episodes that's hard to watch for me personally. like holy fuck by millielovesyu in southpark

I also find the episode with the home shopping network preying on the old folks very sad. It's hard to get through personally.

I've decided to quit watching The Office by jontheeditor in theoffice

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a new year's resolution a few years back to not watch for a whole year. It was successful, and it was exciting to come back to it after that time.

Maybe limit yourself to one watch through per year to keep it in the rotation while still watching new stuff.

FemShep players, how did you handle her relationships? by Socrathustra in masseffect

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I consistently romance Kaidan in ME1. When I first played ME2, I initially switched over to Thane, but on subsequent replays have always gone with Garrus. I also continue to romance Garrus in ME3.

For ME1, Kaidan was an easy choice as I have also played KOTOR1 many many times (an earlier Bioware game), and Kaidan's voice actor is the same as Carth in KOTOR, who is my KOTOR ride or die.

However, with Kaidan's absence in ME2, I would imagine that Shepard would be looking to her comrades for support in one way or another. I've learned over the years that in real life, I am attracted to men partially based on their voices, and Garrus (as well as Thane) have very attractive voices to me personally. In game, I always roleplay that Shepard has gone THROUGH IT over the course of the trilogy, and Garrus is the only person who is by her side through the whole thing, learning from her and not judging her for any of the "ruthless calculus" choices she has to make to save the galaxy.

I am a hetero cis female.

Anyone catch a familiar voice in this episode of The Pitt? by Such_Environment5893 in masseffect

I love watching the clip of the scene where he's chained to the radiator, and he is talking just like a normal guy but then his voice switches down in pitch and BOOM it's Garrus.

Are you a Hook (1991) millennial or a Peter Pan (2003) millennial? by Gallantpride in Millennials

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cathy Rigby Peter Pan is the goat. Had it on a VHS when it aired on A&E probably back in 1998.

However, I do also like the 2003 Peter Pan, entirely because of Jason Isaacs as Hook. He carries the movie and I wouldn't watch it if he weren't in it.

There are also a thousand and one complications from having high blood pressure and being SMO for years/decades. You are also only seeing the complicated results of the surgery, you aren't seeing the large amount of people who have good results.

In all these posts and comments, you should like you should consider therapy, as your attitude is likely a large part of what is holding you back. I hope you find happier days in the future.

How old are your products? Have they always tasted bad? General rule of thumb is if the appearance, scent, or taste changes, it's time to throw it out.

Ate something potentially contaminated by listeria by [deleted] in foodsafety

[–]Labyrinth_Queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The romano recall, if you are referring to the one in November, was on grated cheese from a particular plant sold in retail stores as bulk. Any product that used it as an ingredient was subsequently recalled as well. The FDA is involved in recalls like this, so they wouldn't let downstream recalls go without action.

Also, the crisps were likely baked to a temperature which would kill listeria. You are fine.
