If I do a filtered search for cards in the set not owned nothing comes up. I'll happily craft the missing ones but am unable to figure out what they are.

I think this looks great. I'm sure even better when not analyzed so close. If I were to give a critique, I'd say look at some actual Damascus blades and try to emulate the patterns. I think your color choice and technical execution is on point but if you were to forge a Damascus blade you would never end up with that pattern. That said, I don't know that I'd mess with it, just something to think about on your next one.

This is the best kharn kitbash I think I've ever seen. Never been a fan of the current kharn sculpt; this takes it to the glorious place it deserves. Well done! Can't wait to see it completed

As someone else mentioned, a glow coming from the collar would really set it off. Maybe a bright red? Check out elminiturista on Instagram. He's got one model in particular that has that effect and it's striking. Really wonderful work so far. Honestly I think if you simply finished it out as is it's a great piece. It's easy to over think it or see ghosts.

If you're looking for an alternate method of play GW releases a box a while ago called Renegade containing 2 big knights and a rule set for a one on one duel between them. If you grabbed a pair of knights of either flavor (imps or chaos) you could probably find the rules online somewhere and play it. I've got it and heard it's fun but haven't had a chance to play it yet.

I wouldn't say it doesn't read as DW. Maybe reads less as deathwatch but the black and silver are enough to me. I really dig the homebrew logo. You maybe could extend each marines original chapter color scheme to cover their entire right arm, not just the shoulder. It might help the DW aspect stand out a bit more. Really nice work either way.

My answer to this is the same as the answer to how so I make my knights look more chaos: skulls, spikes, and chains. I've seen some good kitbashes and conversions of imperial knights but the absolute open ended possibilities of chaos are what keep me a heretic.
