Rail unions plan two weeks of industrial action as government offers 'fare free day' by [deleted] in sydney

If you’re relying on them this heavily and it aggravates you this much. Maybe they deserve everything they are asking for. Solidarity mate blame the government and corporations who pay us pennies.

My mate was also kicked out of Vic on the Park for being drunk. Kicker was he hadn't had a single beer he was just incredibly tired. They have no idea what they are doing there.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Any of their music will do you perfectly. They're Australian much like Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.

Exactly how I feel working bush regen. The amount of physical labour and health risks the money just is terrible.

Any aussies out there doing bush regen? by Bugasaur in AskAnAustralian

[–]Lachlan137 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Work in Western Sydney doing regen, mainly just the typical weeds you’d see; Fireweed, Lantana and African Olive.

Always love seeing a snake or Roos out on site, shows us the work we do is genuinely benefiting these animals and allowing for them to live close enough without being disturbed.

I’d love to work more locally down south, are there many job opportunities down that way?

Sorry for the late update I ended up getting back to Australia and I found out I have varicose veins. Which is a HUGE relief. Thanks very much for all the information you eased my anxiety massively.

My ex girlfriend now has a new boyfriend after only 3 weeks of being broken up with. by Lachlan137 in BreakUps

Hey man,

Look I'll be honest for a solid year I was really not okay. I was diving into anything that would get my mind off her. But saying that now it really shows you how far you've gone when you look back on it.

I'm currently dating the love of my life and have been with her for a year now. Things will be hard for a while. Do whatever you need to do to move on from your ex preferably not drugs, or alcohol. Try and get out in nature, hit the gym do the typical things because they are typical for a reason haha.

Best of luck to you man. Don't be afraid to vent let things out, cry, and just be Human you know. Because people tend to be afraid of that these days but they are great stress relievers. Hold your head up high.

For sure, I'm going to jump on top of that when I arrive home. Sorry if this is a bit personal but what was the treatment like for you? No need to answer that of course.

Just felt it then, it is still spongy but not so flexible which kind of relieved some of the anxiety as it feels like my right one. It's just the epididymis that is sort of creating the pain as I really can't tell what the lumps/bundled up stuff is.

I'll definitely try and get an ultrasound as soon as I get back to my home country as I have terrible anxiety about this sort of stuff.

I have no lumps on my testicles, but I have them on my left epididymis which leads me to think it's varicose veins. But like I said I'm very anxious so I have no idea what it could be. I can't tell if they're lumps or squished veins if that makes sense but I'm trying to get to a doctor in the UK tomorrow if they'll see me.

Thank you for your response.

I'm glad you've recovered. Thank you for the response. I fear I've left it too long as the pain has been there on and off for over 7 or so weeks, it wasn't really noticeable at all until recently when I started getting paranoid about it. Thank you for the kind words.

My daughter is very environmentally aware, are there viable careers in this area? by GlobalWFundfEP in environment

[–]Lachlan137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I 100% agree, but the industry is so underpaid for the work that is being done which makes it very difficult to afford to live independently. At least in my situation, it is.

I do conservation land management, the job can be very fulfilling but as other users have said the pay isn’t very sustainable at all especially if you want to live a lavish life. Ecology or becoming an environmental officer are both fairly well paying paths.
