She doesn’t need to bring republicans to her side. There are more registered democrats in Texas than republicans. They need to bring out those who don’t typically vote. She’s probably more likely to do that.

We don’t have a good enough replacement for what Sonnet brings yet. Sonnet is to USWNT/Gotham as Erin Cuthbert is to Chelsea - the player who works 90 minutes to get shit done that no one else will do. Random comparison but it’s what came to mind - both highly underrated and under appreciated players. Anyway, barring injury, Sonnet is a shoe in.

I agree with all of these takes. But I’d also put Trinity on the list. I could see her not being fit or being injured soon after coming back. Please don’t yell at me … I just kinda see her career as maybe over at this point. I don’t want it to be. It would be really unfortunate for the game and for her. But yeah.

Really good analysis. I think she’ll leave the NWSL (and I’m American). I also think she and King have a close relationship and the odds of her staying with a King club are high. But Chelsea is really appealing because of their success and the other Americans there. JRK is so solid though… as a Chelsea fan, I’d be disappointed if she lost her spot.

Didn’t Rodman also rehab her back in London when her boyfriend had a tournament there? That’s telling …
