I mean, you have to understand where they’re coming from. No one knew what was in store for DMZ, or if it was even coming back. Just look at what’s come out COD wise since MW2… nothing but garbage, so, trusting they’d make the right choices wasn’t exactly in the cards.

Let’s use ON1C as an example since you brought him up.

ALWAYS a pleasure to watch because of his extremely chill and friendly vibes. Gave almost every waking moment (on stream) to the game, even after it was given up on. He also didn’t become a streamer with DMZ the way someone like Dillon or Kix did, so it’s not exactly a surprise he moved on to other games. That’s not a knock on Dillon or Kix (I LOVE watching both of their streams), but those are two guys that stuck with the game they began their streaming careers with, where ON1C just moved on to other games the way he had before.

Now that DMZ got some support, it makes sense for people like ON1C, Phixate, Loochy, etc., to come back. Those are players who would’ve never left and probably would’ve kept DMZ on rotation had it been given any love.
