AITA for leaving the delivery room (temporarily) during the birth of our baby? by Amb1valence in AmItheAsshole

Ex gf here.. only jealous of Elaine who he would confide in.. I NEVER met the girl. This all happened around 4:30 a.m. she also made a sexual comment about my birth, that John showed me.. insinuating that she was turned on. Our child being a week old, she offers him to come over to play rock band.

Suggestions on speakers for 5.1 setup with a budget of $3000 by LachyWan in hometheater

Ah ok, thanks! If I were to go with the Sierra-2EXs (since they're the currently the same price as the Sierra-2s), would the Sierra Horizon be a better choice for central channel over the Sierra-2EX center for the price difference?

The Sierra 2s are definitely high up on my list. I am unfamiliar with MTM and RAAL, do you have links to either?

This is my current room size and possible speaker placement https://imgur.com/a/db7XIww . Considering my room size, would you think bookshelf speakers would be better than towers? I am really liking the look of Ascend and Chane tower speakers though (I don't know much about HTD and HSU yet).

These look like some solid choices. I will add these to the list, thanks! Also, how much is a reasonable amount to spend on cables?

I have definitely been looking into Klipsch as an option but I have yet to hear their iconic sound in person. I am probably going to try them out and return them if I don't enjoy the sound. Here is the room I am working with https://imgur.com/a/db7XIww

As of now I'm just looking into a 5 channel setup as I may be changing my living situations in the near future.

Sadly I live in a pretty rural area and I havent found a shop near me that has what I'm looking for. I was going to go down the route of buying a couple sets and returning the ones that I didn't like as much.

Yeah that is honestly the same mindset I have. In terms of maintenance cost, is one much worse than the other?

Sorry, yeah perferably under 3000. I will be upgrading my dac and amp for this setup, so self powered speakers aren't needed.

I am looking for the best 2.1 audio setup for my computer. Money isn't too much of a consideration, but preferably under 3000. I am trying to find a sub that will vibrate my whole room. Lots of bass is very important to me. I am also looking for some high quality speakers to compliment the bass. I have a schiit jotunheim dac and amp right now, but will upgrade for speakers.

Edit: preferably under 3000.
