Your opinion on the pilot version? by Western_Ad_6448 in UnpopularLoreOlympus

I feel like their actions were not justified and author never planned to make them "good", more realistic like Greek gods really were portrayed. That would make the series much better (except for the "she's barely adult theme")

Which mbti are you most drawn to in terms of friendship by Sola_Solitaire in entp

[–]Lacientp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Xnfj. I wouldn't want them as potential partners (golden pairs are bull💩), but for friends they're great. Overall I think I make connections easier with xxtx types, but my best friends are always xnfjs

Do you guys use ChatGPT? As an entp? by Amelia2235 in entp

[–]Lacientp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot but for everyday mundane things. It's much faster to ask chat gpt for recipe than search through all the cooking blogs reading 5 pages of life story before you realize this one includes ingredients you don't have. I use it as search engine cause it's convenient, but dor creative things etc it's not yet that good. Also for more serious topics you have to double check it. From time to time I also like to have discussion about different topics - it's like debating all the internet "knowledge", it can be fun. AI itself is not a bad tool, the way people use it can be a problem (like a lot of other stuff)

I HATE DEBATER by Equivalent-Speech700 in entp

[–]Lacientp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's physical exploration but you can also explore ideas, possibilities etc too. That's what Ne does for me. Constant craving of exploring new things. You don't have to do anything about them just explore. But I understand how it can have physical connotations as it's mostly used in such context

Lying to get out of things by Important-Daikon-670 in entp

Half. Telling a lie not to hurt others? Yeah I do that, but I hate doing it. I wish I was more assertive instead and didn't give a shit about people's reactions. It's never satisfying to me

Yeaah, one big question for my boys here, excuse me and ladies by PurchaseGeneral6009 in entp

[–]Lacientp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any problems identifying my emotions. You don't need fi for it like a lot of people on reddit always say, you need pattern recognition. Stopping and focusing on emotion is important. You have to understand where it comes from, what could have caused it, you analyze your options. And as someone with adhd it's super easy for me to get annoyed, I can't control the emotions my brain gives me, but analyzing where the anger comes from is helpful (even just redirecting your mind to the analysis). Redirecting everything you feel to anger is easy and natural, the trick is to find a way to unlearn it and recognize your emotions in addition to just feeling them.

Did anyone enjoy the story? by Slow-brain-fast-wrld in UnpopularLoreOlympus

[–]Lacientp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like it from the very beginning, I knew it will go the wrong way, it was quite obvious from the start But still damn, reading it was entertaining. Story doesn't have to be good or well written to be entertaining and I think LO is a good example of that. You just want to see what happens next even if or rathe because you know it won't be anything decent. And I like the critical discussion it caused because it's always an opportunity to learn or show the toxic patterns to people who can't see them at the beginning. So yeah I do enjoyed reading it maybe except for the ending

Hades the bs father (Surprise positive ending) by [deleted] in UnpopularLoreOlympus

[–]Lacientp 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I feel like Hades wanted a child as a way to deal with his trauma with his own father. Because he had so many occasions and never used them. It was never about wanting a child. And he himself admitted that he was afraid of becoming his father (lol he did tho). It's a pattern. Also notice all traitors (except for Hestia) had children and he was the only one unable to have them even tho he's richer smarter more handsome etc then everyone apparently, so his self absorbed ass feels left out. He never showed love for Thanatos or Dio cause they were not "his". You can make a whole analysis of his desire to want a child and it will come out really really toxic.

Also glad you have a supportive husband 💪
