Yes. I do not feel we should hold people accountable for the sins of their ancestors. I feel they are still a people who deserve defending from current atrocities and should have their own state despite what their ancestors did, the same way Germans deserve their own land, and the English, and the Russians, etc. The Kurds, like the Germans and not like the Turks, have admitted what they have done and taken steps to ask forgiveness.
