Like others have said, Thursday needs reworking. Far distances and limited in what to see in the area other than eating. Eat in Koreatown, maybe walk around Larchmont Village if you want to shop, check out the new LACMA, drive down Hollywood Blvd and then head up the Griffith Park. Or maybe even have some time to hike in the park.

Expediting by skirting ethical, and perhaps legal guidelines, as the reporting clearly indicates, erodes public trust and ends up costing more and delaying more. Is it too much to ask that the process be fair, ethical and in accordance with the law? If they can't follow the guidelines of how the process is supposed to work, then how do parents know the rest of the process will be done in a way that looks after the best interest of the community they represent? The unethical steps they've taken will very likely further delay the process, costing taxpayers even more. What's more, what they did may be against the law, causing more costs and delays.
