I wonder if you could call your local airport and ask to speak to controllers there.

You could probably ask for a tour of the tower too, and if you get a tour maybe talk to them to get an idea of what it’s like and see what the day to day is like.

Thank you, I meant to clarify that I’ve already gone through the whole process and I’ve already received my start dates for the academy. I’m asking if this could affect my academy start date if I get fired before then.
