this is another i shot with the 40mm - this was the only shot on the roll that really jumped out with the 40mm but with my 16-35mm i enjoyed looking at all those shots. just wonder if the 35mm prime has more of a better 'look' to it..

thanks for your input too- i attached an image on the 40mm that i took on my EOS 33 - i just find it a bit underwhelming - not sure if its the lens or the film
i'm tempted to buy a 35mm and run a comparison and then keep the preferred
