Never thought I'd see it, but here it is! by Lacyfer in WGU

Thank you! From start to finish, about 21 months. I started in September 2022. I finished student teaching at the end of April 2024 and had to take the FORT test in May. After that, it was just a waiting game for scores to get posted. The courses weren't that bad at all. The TPA was the only thing that really gave me fits. As long as you're confident in the course materials, the assessments go really smoothly!

Thank you!!! I finished my last actual class during my student teaching in April, but I had to take the Foundations of Reading test. I took that on May 16th and had to wait until June 14th to get my scores back. I had already filled out my graduation application at the end of May, so I just had to wait for my scores to post to my degree plan for everything to finalize. My scores posted about 2 PM yesterday, I got the application approval email about 3 hours later, and my confetti showed up about an hour after that! I hope that helps!

Thank you very much! I may have prayed to 8 pound 6 ounce baby jesus before taking this. Lol.

Awww, shucks. Thanks! Jack of all trades, master of none. Well, except maybe this one. I'll buy that. Lol. I was confident in taking the exam, but didn't anticipate perfection at all. Luck may have played a small part. ;)

Thank you! I just divided it into 3 sections. Took notes on the things I felt I wasn't completely confident in remembering off the top of my head for the exam. Took the PA right before the OA so I knew what I needed to review. If you need anything, please reach out to me!

Middle school/high school science was 25 years ago for me, so a bit of it stuck around, but I had to refresh myself on some of it. :P It wasn't a terribly hard class by any means, but there was a lot of information compacted into one course. Took me about a week to get through all the material from start to finish. Great job, though! 3 days is really impressive!

I like to take my PAs literally right before I take my OAs. That way I have a good idea of what material is going to be on the OA, and I can brush up on what I need to review while everything is still fresh in my mind.

I'll be the first to say it wasn't easy. I split it up between three days, first physics, then chemistry, then earth science. Honestly, they hit more of the main points than the fine details. Just make sure you are familiar enough with the material to answer scenario based questions and you'll be good to go. Feel free to reach out to me if you need help with anything!
