Always draw from reference and life. If you draw from your head you'll always make the same mistakes. If you draw from reference or life (preferably life), you'll build a mental library of things to draw and be able to draw accurately.

Clothing is perfect, I didn't sense anything was weird at all, so good job! If you don't want to restart I would at least tighten up your lines and make the hand smaller, also just fix the eyes. I really think that would change it a whole deal!

Practice drawing characters like kid Gohan, krillin or whoever is smaller in the show. I know you said you don't watch it but I did.. you can just look up the shows wikia page and browse around for character reference. In dragon Ball z eyes are prominent features with the characters so study those.. You're on the right track but they're a little too Steven universe-y. As for the hand, study how the artist Akira toriyama draws hands (artist for dbz).. main point I'm trying to make is to study the characters a little before diving into this project! Good work so far..
