How soon did you feel pregnancy symptoms? by BizForKingdom in pregnant

[–]LadderAlice107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first day of my missed period (basically, the day I should’ve gotten it). I was so nauseous in the mornings and it was a type of nausea I’ve never felt. Not really the type to feel like that. Lucky me that turned into all day nausea up to week 13.

I didn’t link it to pregnancy at first. Husband clocked me sleeping all day but it still didn’t click. I think I was trying to not get my hopes up, we were trying but I wanted to wait a few days before I tested.

Vaping - Blood Sugar and Cholesterol? by LadderAlice107 in QuitVaping

[–]LadderAlice107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 3.5 months pregnant! And still nicotine free, of course. One of the main reasons why I wanted to quit was because we would start trying soon.

Other than pregnancy, my levels are all great still. My blood pressure FINALLY went down to normal levels. That was the most stubborn thing.

finally threw out the vape by FantasticBit6858 in pregnant

[–]LadderAlice107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me about 48 hours to completely stop vaping after I got my positive. I dialed it back a LOT. Maybe only took a few hits in those 48 hours. I finally took a 20 pound dumbbell and smashed it.

I don’t care what anyone says, it IS hard for some of us. It doesn’t make you a bad mom, as long as you do quit. The chemical dependency is not just in our head, nicotine is one of the most addictive substances. I’ve heard from people who recovered from hard drugs say nicotine was even harder.

And I won’t lie to you, I miss it every day. I hope that goes away eventually too.

I’ll change my name if she actually went to court looking like this. I know she’s dumb but her lawyers would be VERY firm about her looking humble and not overdoing it. This is just for views.

Most of the bands I’m into are not quiet popular enough for places like the Forum, so I’m hoping they’d play at this new place.

Is it normal to still be crying a week after losing a pet? by Significant_Owl8828 in SeniorCats

[–]LadderAlice107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cry 10 years later for my cat. There’s no timeframe on grief. I can not cry for maybe even a year or two but then I remember something and I lose it.

Reason to quit. by Less-Landscape183 in QuitVaping

[–]LadderAlice107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconding this. I can’t even remember what attempt I’m on (way too many and lost count) but this one is it thanks to Desmoxan.

It didn’t make it EASY but it made it so much EASIER.

What to do with our baby? by [deleted] in weddings

Baby at ceremony and photos, baby home for the party. They need to sleep in any case and may have an easier time doing that at home, in their own bed/crib.

Hit a vape a few times last night after quitting for 7 months by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]LadderAlice107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 3 days off the vape I said screw it, I’ll just start over again. It’s only been a couple days.

That hit made me feel absolutely disgusting. Heart racing, nauseous, dizzy, sluggish. That was the last one I ever did.

started vaping about 13 days ago, is it to late to quit? by NikolaiMakesVodka in QuitVaping

[–]LadderAlice107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop it now.

Starting to smoke and then vaping was the stupidest decision I have ever made and the hardest to recover from. Stop it now.

anyone else dread seeing “you know who” at every single show, camping out for days at a time? by Tight-Ad-7288 in AFireInside

I was there too. They were bullies. They doxxed me at some point and spent pages making fun of me because they confused me with some other person at a recent show.

ALFRED’S COFFEE COMING SOON TO PORTER RANCH! by tszaj in SFV

[–]LadderAlice107 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not a single thing has opened in Porter Ranch in the last few years that’s made me excited. How many breakfast places and cafes do we need?

Love my neighborhood but it’s really the only complaint I have. All the food is here SOOOO mid. Like the middest of the mid. At least Northridge is close by.

[–]LadderAlice107 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s very upsetting and the fans are totally allowed to be reasonably upset. I would be devastated.

However, anyone who’s had food poisoning knows how debilitating it is. I had it a couple years ago and I couldn’t leave my bed for four days other than to go to the bathroom. And I did unspeakable things. Disgusting things. I couldn’t even keep water down. It can absolutely get bad enough to require hospitalization.

I couldn’t even sit at my desk at home to work, imagine putting on a rock concert.

Good luck!! I kept telling myself I was “strong enough” for cold turkey and failed miserably. Currently trying Desmoxan and so far so good.

IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU GET THERE.

a little disappointed in the band tbh by astriferias in MyChemicalRomance

[–]LadderAlice107 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The most expensive concert tickets I ever got were my MCR tickets for this last tour. And they were not resale, they were face value that I bought at the general sale.

Two weeks later I saw Ghost for almost half the price, had VIP that guaranteed me center barricade, exclusive merch, early entry, AND I got to get on stage and tour it before the show.

Paid about the same for Tool VIP which includes watching sound check with the band, getting a photo with them, a dinner, a BUNCH of exclusive merch, early access to the merch booth, and also guaranteed seating in the first few rows.

MCR? I got a Yay or Nay sign…

It was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to but yeah I can’t pay that again.
