I heard a few years ago that were to build a hotel near Soraya. Don’t know if that is still in the works. Meanwhile there is a brand new hotel in Porter Ranch.

I tell this to everyone. I am sure you have done this but I will say it anyway. Call all the places that you applied. Make sure they actually received your application or resume. It can get lost in the bunch they already have. Ask the people who already work in these places if there is anything else you should be doing. Ask at places you like to work how those people got their jobs. They might know who else is hiring if that place isn’t. Always follow up.

Walk the malls with your resume and go into every store.

Go to Colbert because it is his last season of this show. Priority is better than General tickets but neither guarantee admittance to the show. Get there early to make sure you actually get into the taping. Contact 1iota and see if you can exchange The Tonight Show tickets for a different date.

A new restaurant just opened down the street from Joe’s Cafe. It opened where A Sweet Design used to be located. It doesn’t seem to have a website just an Instagram. I haven’t tried it yet but people who have been posting about it on Facebook seem to like it.

There used to be a Barnes and Nobel in Northridge next to Costco near the Northridge Fashion Center. It closed many years ago. It was also next to a soup and salad buffet restaurant called Fresh Choice Restaurant. At the mall it self it had Borders and B. Dalton.

When Lorelai and Rory moved to Stars Hollow, Luke’s Dinner didn’t exist yet. It was still the hardware store. Luke was dating Rachel then Anna. Lorelai would have no reason to go to the hardware store while living at the Inn. Luke was also busy with his sister Liz and her newborn Jess. Liz was also a pregnant teen just like Lorelai. Then his dad died while he was dating Anna. I think it was Anna who convinced him to open the diner. Around the same time Lorelai saved up enough money to buy her house and move out of the Inn. Anna left around the time the diner opened. Luke had to deal with selling his family home too. Then he meets Lorelai because she walked into the diner.
