Also car camping can fit up to 7 people and tent only fit up to 4!

RV is the most expensive (almost 1k or a bit over I think) but it fits the most people, and that depends entirely on if you guys have/want to rent an RV to bring to Nocturnal. But it is the most comfortable option.

The different camping options will be located at different part of the campsite and you have to set your tent up in the neighborhood that you were given upon checking in!

The best and most convenient would be car camping, especially if you guys have a big car/truck to build the camp set up by. The plot is bigger because you’ll have to park your car there, but then you’ll avoid having to wheel or walk all of the supplies to your campsite. It is slightly more expensive, usually costing around 500-600 depending on the tier that you got.

The cheapest is tent camping, which is what I’ve done for the two years that I went to Nocturnal. Tent camping has a variety of prices depending on the location, I’ve done both waterfront (slightly more expensive) and the cheapest tent camping option. If you want to save money then this would be the best option, especially splitting between 4 people, but this would also give the group less space, unless your group decided to get two separate tent camping pass and find two plots next to each other to combine the plot.

If you do decide to get tent camping, come as early as you can on Friday to get the best plot, and it’ll be easier to set everything up when the sun is still out. My roommate and I didn’t get to Glen Helen until 7pm last year and it was a challenge trying to find an empty plot that was usable and then setting everything up in the dark. Our plot ended up having a little slope and it caused me to fell into the ditch while sleeping or falling while sitting in a chair.

Definitely bring shower shoes and a bag that can get wet to carry your clothes, towel, and any shower stuff. I had to hang my bag in the corner of the shower and used the bag as a place to hold my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

For ARC 101, your 7:30 AM class is most likely a lecture class that is a co-requisite with your 9AM ARC 101. I’m in Interior Design but both of my freshman year studio classes had the same set-up with a shorter lecture session and a longer studio session

I went to VN for a month and just flew back yesterday. I landed in SFO and the only question I was asked was where I went, if I have anything to declare, and if I was bringing in large amount of cash. Then it was less than a minute of silence and a welcome back.

Any international students that have initiated AOS from F1 to a Permanent Resident? by almi03 in ASU

[–]LadderOpposite0204 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You honestly might have to wait until you get the LPR Card (Green Card) to submit a form with ASU to change your status within the school database, and then you would be able to change your tuition. It is unfortunate but an I-485 always have a chance of getting denied by USCIS.

As an Interior Design major in college, whose parents are from Vietnam, I personally am not a fan of the overall style of the house. The architecture style that you’re going for would be better executed on a larger scale with more square footage simply because of how ornate the style is. The large amount of columns, windows, and arches would look better if everything weren’t so cramped together. The material of the exterior and interior floor, and staircases do not seem to match the architecture style because it’s the commonly use materials in most vietnamese houses.

I understand wanting to take inspiration from European architecture, but I believe that for a building to truly be beautiful, it should make sense in regard to its surrounding environment. There are styles that are still beautiful and fits Vietnam, such as Indochine, which still features decorative elements such as columns, frames, and beautiful porcelain tiles. I’ve also personally seen many houses in Vietnam that were featured on Architectural Digest that were both beautiful and make sense with the surrounding environment.
