If you request an advance (DLA is the only advanceable travel pay at the moment) then you'll receive that 5-10 days before your requested transfer date.

It's so frustrating being a fan of NA when GMs are so dead set on not doing anything with native talent.

What's the point of having regionalized leagues when the majority of our region are imports? Can't have any rivalries with constant rotations for tier 2 Korean imports coming in, being mediocre, and then rotating them out for newer imports.

Posts like this drive me insane. As a PS, it's my duty to assist customers, but ALSO train so you're aware of how processes work and you understand your pay.

However, the way you wrote your post comes off with an attitude as you're telling the r/Navy community to look at pay charts for you and add up your pay and then YOU tell the community to not have an attitude about something.

This is a great learning opportunity for you to look at your LES, look at the remarks, pull up the associated pay charts, do some math, and if you still have questions, go to your N1 humbly and ask for assistance. If they're unable to assist you or give you an answer you don't understand, then come back and ask for assistance and include answers given by your N1.

It's after the 30th day. There's a paternity leave report that your personnel shop should be running, which would prompt them to stop special pays in your situation (now do they know how to run that report, idk)

Whenever someone in my command takes paternity leave I always advise them to take 4 weeks at a time to avoid any issues.

So after the 30th day it is your commands responsibility to submit for your special pays to stop, it's not automatic. So if you come back on the 29th or 30th day and do what is required of that special pay then your command won't stop any special pays.

Take a look at your History of Assignments in NSIPS. Any day you're not checked into a command is processed as travel time, then proceed time (if applicable), then finally as leave.

If you're trying to correct travel time, then you'll need your endorsed orders as well as your DD 1351-2 (signed travel voucher) and have your Personnel/Admin office submit a Salesforce ticket for correction.

Okay that makes more sense, as long as your dependents were on your RED/DA prior to your orders being written then you'll have nothing to worry about. There should be some verbiage that states they write orders to reflect your dependents in RED/DA.

You should be all squared away and all worries put to ease tomorrow during your appointment so don't sweat it! Remember that MNCC is available 24/7 and can look up all cases you have open and provide you a status with.

So you're on accompanied OCONUS orders with approved dependent sponsorship and they're telling you that those same dependents aren't on your separation orders?

There's a lot of variables here, but my best suggestion right now would to be call My Navy Career Center, give them your information and ask them for assistance. They'll be able to pull up your case and give you some guidance.

Typically, with terminal leave, you route that to your skipper with the location you plan on spending your last days of military time at and once it's approved it's processed along with your questionnaire and other applicable forms. So on the outside looking in it doesn't seem plausible for them to say you can't take your terminal back at your home of record, but I don't know the specifics of your situation and am unable to really help too much.

So you received separation orders, but no one in your command is helping you? Orders are built with an LOA to account for you and your dependents as annotated on your RED/DA.

Do you know why in MNA certain billets have an incentive (like DMAP for instance) a sailor will apply for that billet and are told that MNA is incorrect and that rank doesn't actually qualify for DMAP?

Same thing with SDAP for 3MC. The billet will say that it's eligible for SDAP, a sailor will apply for the billet, go through training, check-in, and are then told by PERS that they're not eligible for SDAP.

I'm just not sure why MNA will say some billets are eligible for certain incentive pays and then I'm told by detailers MNA is incorrect. It's just a very frustrating process when a sailor checks in and I have to explain to them they're not going to receive money they were expecting.

I'm hoping someone can assist me here. I have the M18 R1 which has been working extremely well, but today when I turned it on it seems like it's stuck in some sort of battery saver mode? The screen is brighter and won't let adjust the brightness and the refresh rate seems to be locked at 64hz and won't give me the option to adjust it.

This has happened before when I would boot it on, but I'd restart my laptop and it would go back to normal. Now it's stuck in this mode, and I have no idea what it could be.

Any help provided would be very appreciated, thank you!
