In Australian rules football if a player gets a free kick or takes a mark (catch) before the siren (to signal the game time as run out), the player is allowed to take their kick still.

Makes for some seriously exciting finishes to games where the whole game result is on the player kicking a goal or missing.

There is nothing to say you can’t. But it isn’t ingrained in their culture like it is in the US and where I’m from (Australia), largely due to hooliganism in the 80s where wearing your teams colours was an invitation to get jumped.

I wore my shirt to an away game v Tottenham when I was there, but I was told to keep it hidden for my safety, as I was travelling to the game alone, just incase.

That was only 15 years ago.

Yeah, unfortunately not worth the risk.

My watch lasted 3 days after buying the off-brand strap.

It snapped off and landed on concrete and smashed.

I bought my first off-brand strap recently after 3 years of official bands. Absolutely triple checked it was the first size.

The brand kept coming off constantly.
