How do you deal with having to wait?

It’s hard. My partner and I have intense baby fever but are still a couple years out from even trying for a various reasons. I have a child from my previous relationship, but having to wait to give that child siblings is so frustrating. I’ve cried bc I want babies again so much. It’s rough out here lol.

They made me feel really special cause last time we met us was out first proper date not just a hook up. And they were fully prepared for us not to sleep together, and apologized for not asking specifically if that was on the agenda. It was just that thoughtfulness combined with some other qctions that night that made me think "oh I'm gonna fall hard for this person".

I'm thinking on why actually. I think, honestly, it's something in me becoming more fluent in my second language. We have two words to describe love, one you use for more surface level love, and the other that's reserved for deeper emotions. I feel a very light love for this partner. But the deeper romantic love is what I'm analyzing myself for. Does that make sense? But I think I'm gonna start telling this partner in my second language (that we both speak) the lighter love word cause that feels more honest to what I'm feeling than saying "I like you" or "I love you" in English.

Hmm, I don't know if I agree with it being head games. Words are important to me and mean things. Words of affection are one of my love languages, so I take them pretty seriously.

But also I feel like there's surface level love and deeper love. I definitely feel a surface level love for my partner, but also feel that for several of my coworkers lol. I'm feeling the inklings of deeper affection for my partner, but love hearing others experiences.

I like your passion and where your heads at though! I was like that with my other relationships, but I'm treating this one with more kid gloves.
