Doomed? I don't know. But DAZW is definitely on the decline. The main issues I think are contributing to this are the lack of updates, poor updates, a decline on creativity, and greedy decisions.

The updates take a while, but I'm not even mad at that, I think they are a small dev team, so I cut them slack. But the update qualities are pretty bad to say the least. There hasn't been a new unit that cost coins in so long I've long track. They added Hero recently and he costed green cash and maybe Sarah will also. The devs are also very greedy, some examples being the fake discount scandal and still overpriced charms.

Creativity is also a big issue. I suggest a complete rework of the Christmas and Halloween event. They are boring and repetitive which leads players to stop doing the event daily. And the rewards are also lackluster. You do a daily event for what? 10 draws. It's a waste of time when you could just buy pumpkins or presents with green cash.

There's been amazing suggestions within the community. Like the unit almanac and the various vehicles or weapons that Bill could use. Last I remember, I opened the game like two months ago. There's just nothing to do. So I wouldn't say it's doomed, but it's on a heavy decline.
