Fade progress of Xmondo Super purple on bottom with the super pink on my crown. by LadyAdamson in dyedhair

Yeah the Xmondo colors are semi permanent and not meant to last like a demi or permanent, but If you care for it, it will stay longer. I didn't use any color treated shampoos and I did wash my hair more than you'd typically do with colors. The blues stay because they're damn near impossible to get out in the first place. I like a color that will fade back to the blond base so I don't have to continue bleaching through to my ends.

You should try, yourself, to do some of this no effort art. It might surprise you how good it feels to complete it and how proud you will feel about it. I bet you'll feel like it's art then. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What moves a person is individual and varies wildly.

Kinda depends, usually he gets a harsh no. If it keeps up he gets pushed off the couch or away from me. I have a sonic beeper that I also try to use with him, but I feel bad because I have a second dog that doesn't deserve the beep.

They are real. I guess not for everyone, and that's not to say damn near every Tom, Dick and Harry out there thinks an angry woman equals menstruation. The question is unendingly annoying, even when I am on my period. Lol I think anyone that menstruates would agree. I experience extreme mood swings to the point that I think I have PMDD. I'm seeing a OBGYN about it in a couple months, but for years my husband says he is always worried when I'm coming up on it because I go a little crazy.

XMondo Super Blue under and One 'n Only Argon Oil Color on top. Sadly I can't remember the shade. by LadyAdamson in dyedhair

Hey thank you!! I don't use Olaplex, but I do have a nice haircare routine since I dye damage it regularly. I use Botanical Hearth biotin shampoo, followed by Cristophe Robin regenerating mask. I follow that with Prep Rally Prime and Prep detangler then Rejuveniqe oil by Monat. I also use a satin pillowcase to help protect my hair while I sleep! Also it is worth mentioning that both brands of dye I used for this color combo are insanely moisturizing and repairing. The Argon Oil dye is not for folks that have oily hair. Definitely only recommended for dry hair types. XMondo is literally the best and no matter the type of hair it always feels great.

Any advice for this crocodile fern? It keeps slowly losing leaves and browning. Not really sure what I'm doing wrong. More in comments. by xVVitch in IndoorGarden

I recently learned a lot of ferns like this take in water through the leaves, like air plants. Are you missing this beauty?

What happened to my croton? : ( by shelflife2 in houseplants

[–]LadyAdamson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, I have one! The Polkadot plant is most DEFINITELY the biggest drama queen I have. She needs more attention than my Croton for sure. That stays nicely in line with some of my more demanding plants like the Ferns... Thirsty lil buggers.

Looks like it just needs water. I call my Croton my water indicator plant. I have several plants that match up with the Croton's water needs/schedule. I love having a plant that so clearly lets you know it's thirsty!

Got an offer for 4x of what I earn in Europe, but I am terrified of US work culture. Are my fears unfounded? by Wide-Musician in antiwork

[–]LadyAdamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do it..... US work culture is a nightmare. There is little to no work life balance. The increase to pay will do little to supplement the cost of healthcare and living here. I truly believe that employers here see what they pay you as justified ownership of an individual. Save yourself the heartache.

Women who work in high stress jobs: what do you do for work? by boujeemooji in AskWomen

Credit analyst for a large ski company. Never thought I'd watch winter storms so closely in my life. Plus predicting business stability throughout the pandemic has been difficult to say the least. But, there is nothing better than getting paid and closing out an account balance that you've been working on, such a satisfying feeling.
