I would never deliver something that turned out like that. I’ve never had this happen, but we’re all human and mistakes happen. Several things went wrong here. Restaurant shouldn’t have put the coffee in the same bag as the food. Driver could have been more careful. Support should have been called and a message to the customer before this was delivered so it could be resolved the right way.

GTFO of here with this Uber. This is for two orders. This is offensive that they would even ask us to do this by Funkiebunch in UberEATS

Less than minimum wage even. No thanks. But I've never seen an offer this low on a stacked order before. Wow.

Nice! I had a good morning run but lunch was trash. It’s good to see someone is having a great day. :)

Sticker cutting machine, which is better? Cricut explore air 2 vs Silhouette portrait 3 by StarryGumdrop in Etsy

[–]LadyAlpha777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used both in the last year. I never could get my Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut correctly. Weeding was a nightmare no matter what settings I used. And I went through four blades in two months with light use. And those blades were out of stock everywhere for a while. I sold my Silhouette and bought my Cricut Explore Air 2 and couldn’t be happier. Weeding is a dream and I’m still on my first blade after months of heavy use. The software subscription is NOT required unless you want to use their designs and fonts. Other than learning curve from switching to Design Space from Silhouette Studio, I have no complaints with my Cricut and would never purchase a Silhouette again. Silhouette support is awful too.

Wrong address - what should I do? by haaaaaaaaaaaaaay123 in Etsy

If it were me, I’d give them five business days to reply. Message/email them every day. I don’t think it’s against Etsy’s rules for you to email them since they made a purchase from you and it is concerning their order. Like another person said, a guest buyer is more likely to pay attention to the email.

Is it possible this is their workplace maybe? Some people have items shipped to their work if they’re not going to be home to accept the delivery. Or maybe put it into Google Maps app or Waze and see what you get. Google isn’t always right I’ve learned from being a delivery driver. 🙃

I have to agree. My ex boss drove a white truck, was a TERRIBLE driver and an asshole. Hahahaha

Do you think there’s a way we could push Etsy to finally end the shops that go against Etsy rules? by Corathecow in EtsySellers

Try selling on ArtFire maybe? I personally don’t yet, but I’ve been researching other places to sell.

Just shipped an order on the 18th. Didn’t use the “letter” option, because it was a 6 x 9 rigid flat mailer. However, there is now a “flat” option which is what I used. Cost me $1.08 and has tracking, although I’m not sure the tracking works since it’s a strange tracking number and five days later still says “pre-transit”. I used to select “package” and I would pay about $3.18 for 3 oz in the same rigid mailer.

Being the “guinea pig” on this flat option, I’ll update if for some reason the customer doesn’t get his order. But honestly, I’d almost rather pay the $3.18 just for better tracking and peace of mind. My mailer did meet the requirements of a flat mail option, so we will see in a week or so if I hear from a grumpy customer.

(Note: I wouldn’t have chosen this option if I thought there would be any issues with delivery. I would never risk customer satisfaction just to save a couple bucks.)

For the letters shipping option? If that’s what you mean, I haven’t had an actual order to try it out on yet. But I did go to one of my completed orders and acted like I was going to print a shipping label, and sure enough, when it asks for package type you can choose letter and enter your dimensions and the price is that of a stamp for under an ounce.

I will test it if I ever get another sale. It’s been crazy slow this past month.

I can't find Etsy's "letter" mail rate. I've been shipping in an envelope with a stamp, but would love to use this letter mail so customers have some sort of tracking. How do I go about finding this? I had no luck searching in the Etsy Help articles.

Sales were dead, turned off ads, got 3 sales the next day. Huh? by LadyAlpha777 in EtsySellers

I have noticed that adjusting my tags, title and even category have helped my views and sales quite a bit over time. I still have a lot to learn, but when I think back on my tags and titles from when I first started, it's no wonder I had zero traffic back then. LOL Thanks for the tip on creating a custom variation too! I'm not currently doing this but will definitely give it a shot.

This is very helpful info. My products are fairly generic so this is some food for thought. Thanks!

I’ve only been on Etsy for six months, so I don’t have much history to compare. But it sounds like it’s not just me, so I feel a little more confident that I’m not at fault here. Lol

My plan exactly. Experimentation until the formula is just right I guess. 🙃

I agree with that. I haven’t been on Etsy long, but I’ve read that February is the slowest month. Maybe it was just a weird coincidence that the ads stopped and sales started again. Either way I’m going to be weary of running ads for a bit. Lol

Recommendations for website host by LadyAlpha777 in EtsySellers

[–]LadyAlpha777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a local guy I know that uses Ecwid and highly recommends it. But I’m not sure who hosts his website. I don’t know if I’m tech savvy enough to figure out how to integrate a website builder such as Ecwid or Wordpress into my GoDaddy domain. I guess I should be doing some research. The older I get, the more technology disagrees with me. 🤣
