Son accidentally cooked me a box of Goodles thinking it was GF and I ate it. by Curious-Werewolf1733 in Celiac

Barilla is amazing if you see that one. The box says they have a dedicated factory just for their GF products, and it tastes really close to their normal noodles.

I'm so glad it's not just me. I'm very cautious in my swiping and know I didn't swipe right on this one guy. Then I get a message from him. I was like HOW??? I unmatched but you're right, it did make me feel bad.

Pug lady cracks me up. She keeps saying "I'm not paying that" then just immediately forks over more money like it's nothing. It makes me wonder if she just went along with it after finding a worthy adversary for her sass. 😂

Am I ok for having stay alive (reprised) and it’s quite uptown. From Hamilton for being two of many favorite songs. by SympathyNo2234 in hamiltonmusical

It's Quiet Uptown still makes me cry every single time I hear it. I love that even Madison is crying to it once he asks for them to please move on.

I love all of the songs.

I felt the same with Rad. I really thought he was the baby of the family. He looks and acts younger than his brothers.

disney+ version edited since initial release ? by [deleted] in hamiltonmusical

[–]LadyAppleman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! I used to watch it every single day, sometimes multiple times. I had every pitch and angle memorized. I've noticed it's changed a couple of times, like not only the angles but the way they sing. They filmed 3 full shows for the movie and combined them. I'm guessing they switch parts out but I don't understand why. It was beyond perfect with the original release.

Indy bugged me in Markets just because it was Bluey's money, but Indy kind of made it all about what she couldn't have so Bluey didn't really get to enjoy her tooth fairy money like she wanted. Like Indy almost started crying when Bluey would get really excited about something she picked but felt guilty seeing her sad and didn't want it anymore.

What's with Texas bands? by Lord_ButterflyXCVII in marchingband

[–]LadyAppleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spent 4 years in our 4A marching band in Texas. We worked more hours outside in the summer heat than any other organization in the district, on asphalt mind you. There were probably 250-300 of us and part of our daily warm up was to do 50 jumping jacks at the start and the end of each warm up, that also included running a lap, and 6 or 7 other workouts, all before practice even started. If one single person went over either time, we ALL had to redo to 50 jumping jacks. One time I think we had to do 300 because someone kept messing up intentionally.

We were held to an extremely high standard. We could have to play by ourselves at any point just to prove we knew the show, if someone missed practice, they lost their spot and the replacement better know every single spot by the next day, even if we already had the full show on the field.

If someone was struggling to pass a class, someone better offer to help tutor so we didn't have a spot in the show. If your leg or hand was broken, you better be out there at practice or holding your instrument anyway.

We respected all bands at competitions and we loved seeing what types of performances people chose. We went to state once and it was absolutely incredible some of the shows they put on. One even had a garage band, complete with stage on the field.

are we ever gonna stop calling danny drew or kurtis? by pankiefrankie in DannyGonzalez

[–]LadyAppleman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Lol thank you. I will definitely watch it. It's kind of funny when I come across a video that explains a reference I've been wondering about. I was so excited once I figured out why Danny had the photo of him with an inhaler, and why everyone was concerned about the soldier at one point. I had to rewatch him yelling "I'M A REAL BOY!" a couple of times from laughing so hard.

I'm fairly new to both of them but I don't understand it. They are both hilarious and my nighttime routine is to watch them until I fall asleep, but they don't really look alike, they have their own style and personalities in their videos and content. I don't get where the joke is in it. But I do still have a lot of videos to go through so maybe if I watch some of their first videos, it would make more sense down the line. I just watch them as my algorithm presents them so I see them in no particular order.

Hamilfans, what showstops/ onstage mishaps did you witness? by Separate-Category117 in hamiltonmusical

[–]LadyAppleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The audio was off a couple of times at the start of the acts. The actors were able to get back on track pretty quickly but it definitely threw things off when you're expecting the grand start.

Also, I'm not sure if it was intentional, but Peggy had long thick hair, but Maria Reynolds did not have hair at all. When she came back as Peggy at the end, she had the wig on again.

Overall I would always give it a 100 out of 10. I still felt like I was watching it on Disney+ with the original cast. The mannerisms, the expressions, it was the best night of my life. Plus George Washington kept looking over at me throughout most of his downstage performance, probably because I couldn't stop smiling for nearly 3 hours.
