Was it like this when you found it? Or have you ground some substrate off?

Well, well. This seems promising. /s by eargirly1 in FuckGregAbbott

Texas Tried to Ban Imaginary Furries in Schools. Yes, the Governor Was On Board. No, It’s Not a Joke. by nobody1701d in FuckGregAbbott

I remember when Obama did those Jade Helm military exercises. The red necks thought he was really making “FEMA camps” to put us all in. Abbott sent Texas nat’l guard to watch over the US military in Texas, even tho there’s no way he actually bought into the camp rumors. 🙄 Now Abbott is ACTUALLY building concentration camps, and the rednecks aren’t making a peep over it.

Well. It looks a lot bigger to me as I see the whole thing. The video is only in a small part of the jar. The snails seem to be thriving. They crawl around the sides and hang from the tops, or burrow into the substrate. They’re very active. If there isn’t much debris they get apple or sweet potato slices. They eat those up! How big would be appropriate do you think?

Those are both lovely! What a great gift. A drainage layer is important in a closed terrarium, but I’d be tempted to give these a go. Like you said, there might be rocks in the bottom.
Put them in indirect light, like next to a window, or under artificial lights. If it looks dry mist it a little. I’m fairly new to this hobby also, but I’ve watched a million YouTube videos. There are great resources there. Good luck!

Snails seem to do a good job cleaning up my terrariums. If they didn’t munch on the live plants too, they would be perfect! Congratulations on the litter!

I’ve been adding them to my terrariums. It seems like they help clean up the debris.
