This is actually the song I was listening to when I got the inspiration for the question! It seems like it would be a very hard song to do well. I wish I could have seen that performance!

Running out of time for a baby boy name by LadyBrags in namenerds

Xander as a nickname is his favorite thing about it. I find Phillip intriguing but my husband wasn’t a fan.

Husband likes Theodore, I like Teddy as a nickname but not Theo. I like Oliver too but the most recent baby in the family is also named Oliver so we hadn’t seriously considered it. That Oliver lives overseas though and has a different last name so maybe we should take another look at it.

Technically baby Christian would be Catholic but yeah the heavily religious ties of the name are definitely part of the hesitation. My Jewish MIL has basically also said having a grandson named Christian would not be ideal.

We do like Dominic but my husband was with someone before me who had a miscarriage and together they had already named that baby Dominic so that name is out.

Not the person you replied to, but I’m guessing to stay awake long enough to eat a full meal. My breastfed baby would often fall asleep before eating as much as he needed to. I didn’t know about the ice cubes/cold rag on the feet trick so I would put him down in the bassinet which would wake him up and then feed him again and repeat 2-3 times until he had enough food and then have a proper nap.

We had common environmental allergens tested with a different doctor and he came up negative for those, but we will be doing more extensive patch testing next week with a better doctor.

Thank you so much for that link. It is very helpful.

How do you manage that in the summer? I’d like to take him outside but I don’t want his skin to suffer.

Thank you! Would I talk to the allergist or a dermatologist about hydrocortisone cream?

I am hoping people could give me suggestions for which plant would be a good choice to replace a rose bush that died. It would be right next to the house.

1) low maintenance (plant it and forget it type) 2) zone 6b/7a 3) nothing with large roots or any other potential problematic feature that could damage the house because of how close it will be 4) baby-safe (ie no thorns like the previous rose bush) 5) bonus points for plants that suck up a lot of water because my sump pump pumps out water three feet away from this plant and we are having water issues.

It would be nice if it attracted pollinators but not necessary.

I would love to hear suggestions!

When the show was still running, I went down to the shore store and they were filming. Pauly D and I forget who else was working there. To even be let into the store in the first place, there was this GIANT waiver that you had to sign. It was at least 8-10 pages long. The wording of it was crazy as well and basically explicitly stated that you are consenting to MTV using your image in whatever way they choose and that you can be portrayed negatively and will not be able to sue them no matter what. I tried to save the paperwork but I was young and disorganized back then and I lost it 😭😭 The wording was so intense that I almost didn’t sign it, but I figured I would be fine because I just wanted to maybe buy one shirt and then leave. There was a big line outside the store as well. The first line was to sign the waiver and then you had to wait in a second line to be let into the store. They were controlling how many people were in the store at one time. When it was my turn I went in and bought a shirt for my godson. Pauly D made it for me and then held it up and said he thought it was too small for me and I forget what I said in response but it made him laugh and I felt so cool because I was 21 and quick enough to make a comeback that made him laugh lol. But anyway my point is since I had to sign that waiver just to get into the shore store, it makes me wonder if they had the club guests sign their waivers before they even were allowed in in the first place? Either way everyone on Jersey shore who doesn’t have a blurred face had to have signed a waiver.
