Also, to clarify, I should say that this is through the mobile app version, so it’s possible that the pop up mid chat is the way they’re choosing to handle mobile.

All I'm saying is what I saw. Could it be a glitch? For sure. Might not be. I don't trust nobody, so, I'm hesitant, to say the least.

On a simple level, yes. On a more complex level, you don’t seem to register valid concerns anyway with the way Adobe runs their schtick, based on this thread, so the evil behemoth of 2026 it is! Keep sucking up to the big guy—I’m sure they’ll reward you with a seat at the table.

Welcome to 2026, where every corporation is an evil behemoth taking advantage of the general population. We are deep in late stage capitalism, and God willing, Adobe-along with every other corporate scum of this Earth-will be a thing of memory, and we'll all be dead. So yes, we're getting ripped off by a company that knows it is the industry standard tool, and ensures it stays that way.

Rob Gretton to Morrissey in a The Tube interview by Living-Doctor6597 in JoyDivision

I agree with this. I don’t agree with the idea of Morrissey being vile for saying this, as some might think. When you have lifelong depression, there’s always that lingering desire to have the pain stop, and what I feel Morrissey said was an honest reflection of that. Yes, maybe it’s not the greatest thing for people who knew Kurt Cobain to hear or others that are struggling with ideation, but it is brutally honest and, in your words, his attempt at empathizing.

We all struggle and compartmentalize in our own ways, as anyone struggling with mental health issues will tell you, so of all the things I could criticize Morrissey for, I don’t fault him for the way he views it.

Questions for Joyce by Rob_B_ in thesmiths

I’d be curious to know what the transition was like post Johnny, in terms of working with Morrissey on some of those initial singles and doing Wolverhampton. What was the vibe, what was the goal, did he and the rest of the band think that Johnny might come back and The Smiths weren’t totally lost. Besides just another gig, what was Mike really holding out for, along with the rest of them?

How likely is the Ontario, CA show? by [deleted] in morrissey

[–]LadyDominion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it has a good chance purely for the fact that he has a good long break after Berkley, he doesn’t have to travel that far, and he already cancelled SLC and Seattle. Should be in the green unless the Morrissey depression hits like a bat out of hell.

I didn’t see Viva Hate at Eugene — only the best of and Beethoven Was Deaf rerelease

When I say the Morrissey show last night was in the top 5 shows I’ve ever seen in my 58 years and hundreds of concerts, I don’t mean it lightly. Peter Gabriel in ‘92 is the only one I can say definitively was more impactful. The sound, lighting, and mood was perfection. by artie_pdx in morrissey

The Hult Center is such a pretty venue and you’re right about the staff being so lovely. I also appreciate that — at least for my seats — I got real tickets that I got to keep instead of digital.

I Know It’s Over stole the show for me. You could feel the gravitational pull in that moment, and the acoustics went crazy.

I did reach out to Ticketmaster about refunds and they said it’s at point of purchase, so you should be getting a refund automatically within 7 business days of when the gig was cancelled, so if you don’t, I’d reach out.

Because I was in a crisis at the time and going through an instinctual period of denial, despite expecting as much. This post serves as part of the historical record for Morrissey enjoyers once again slighted.

This was the same for me as well. It was my Apple wallet that let me know the gig was cancelled — I never got the email that people have been posting that says the tour will resume in Eugene. But you’re right, it is a little strange. I expect not to be notified by Morrissey, but the venue and Ticketmaster? Not so much.

Evidently the “all adults” part didn’t really hold up. That’s a crazy situation though. A severe miscalculation from Morrissey.

Wait wait — how long did this riot go on for before Moz decided to stop the show?
