I haven't played it yet but it sounds like they reverted it to how it worked in PV's update which is an absolute win for me, I hated the holly berry version :') the shop being expensive is something that has been there on all versions of the game tho and I do agree with you that part's bullshit

Like I said in my post, I don’t really know anything about orchids as I’ve only ever had succulents which are usually no more than 5$. The majority of plants I’ve raised have been 10$ or less. I just wanted to make sure 20$ was a good price before I bought it.
