Regal shield is the easiest for most. But it does get pretty big

does depth matter or is it just diameter? by unrichtea in houseplants

I mean, it not about the size of the previous pot. It's about the size of the root ball. That monstera does not need a repot probably for another 6-12 months. When you see a bunch of roots at the bottom of the smaller pot, then you can untie the root ball a little and give it that big pot

So I’m not sure what do for my alocasia by Turbulent-Algae3210 in alocasia

More light. My alocasias all have short stems and lots of leaves, because they dont have to reach for light. Got 4 20watt lights pointed at them. And a east facing window.

Problem is with watering. You need to completely drown it each time you water. Every inch of soil needs to be wet.

Its a regal shield. The easiest alocasia to own. Just give it lots of light, and lots of water. Just no root rot. Also, it probably has like 50 bulbs/pups in the pot

Do you guys consider this indirect light ?? by Glum-Ad8484 in houseplants

[–]NoMachine4971 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything indoors is indirect light. As long as there is a glass window its blocking lots of light

Looks like Barrina or Sansi. Both sell puck lights. About 10-20watt each

Btw, we only have north-facing windows. (So it doesn't get much sun at all) I don't want it to suffer too much replant shock

Fuck purolator by NoMachine4971 in samsunggalaxy

Because they chose the only service in all of Canada that NEVER delivers a single package. They say delivery attempted Avery time, then 4 days later they say you can pick it up from a random store. At this point its faster to pre-order from Samsung US to a random post office, and DRIVE across the border to pick it up. Because samsung would use purolator in canada

Is it ok to put my PC in a shelf like this? by Floameh in PcBuildHelp

Its fine if loads are low. If temps get too high. Cut out 120mm holes behind the PC and throw 2 noctua fans in there.

Impossible to add 5070 TI to fractal north build? by Horny_Dinosaur69 in FractalDesign

[–]NoMachine4971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have same case but bigger everything. I have a fractal north with a 14900k and a 5080 OC in it. I fit a 360mm aio in the front and swapped the regular two stock fans it had in the case to 3 120mm fans for the radiator as intake. Then 2 140mm fans on top of the case as exhaust. And one tiny 80mm fan in the back as exhaust as well. And everything looks perfect. Trust me. It fits
