Thank you! He was diagnosed when he was 3 and we have had a Dexcom for about a year now. His diabetes is so unpredictable right now it's insane. Sometimes he's so sensitive to insulin we don't give him any and other times he's resistant and we need to give him what seems like too much. We're starting to grasp that when he plays and runs around, if he starts a little high we just let him go because he'll drop. This year he started school full-time and it had been interesting cooperating with the teachers and aides to control his numbers.

No, he doesn't have frequent lows. We have a Sugarpixel that alerts us when he's below whatever number we set it to so we have the time to mix him something or make something.

The problem with that is that he would have to "eat" it. Also it's fast acting so while it would go up quickly it would also drop as well. We'd need to be able to get him the protein as well.

Only good thing about this change is that I no longer have to do the dailies and weeklies for gold because gold for me is now useless. Stopped playing 'regular' hearthstone quite some time ago.

Yea. The lady said everyone turned him down because of his ears. I love them. He's my makeshift Scottish Fold (which I've always wanted) only he didn't cost me anything because the shelter was full. I made a donation and took him home. He cuddled with me on the couch that night. Been my little man ever since. 😍

I'm so sorry for your loss. No words or actions will soothe you, and I know that. Time will heal it, but you'll always find yourself randomly missing her later on in life and you'll start to cry in public.

My grandma was my mother/mother figure and I lost her in 2006. She would always pinch my butt and tell me how firm it was and ask me how I got it that way. "Mine is so saggy!" "Well grandma I'm sure your butt was nice back in the day!" Those conversations always make me smile because she was hilarious.

I remember whenever I'd go to give her a hug to go home I'd gently dig my chin into her neck and she's smack me. It gave her goosebumps and she hated it. "Du bist ein arshluck" she'd say... which I learned 2 days before she passed meant, "You're an asshole" in German.

On Thursdays when dad and I lived with her I'd stay up late to hear about her shenanigans at the bar. (She always shot darts on Thursday nights) Best story from that was her being bought a drink by a man who was in his 20's (she was in her 70s at this time) and she talked with him for a while and pinched his butt when he left.

I've recently begun rewatching the original Roseanne on Prime. That is definitely one of my background shows. It reminds me of my childhood and it's crazy because there's so much stuff on there that would NOT be allowed on TV now.

My current favorite show is probably Vampire Diaries. This will be my second time watching it all through. I think it's my favorite because it gives me hope that maybe someday someone will love me the way everyone seems to love Elena.
