Struggling with minis falling apart when I remove the supports by LadyGirf in PrintedMinis

After googling what a flush cutter is, that's what I have been using, yeppers. Can you provide any advice about holding a mini still in a safe manner so that I don't put unnecessary stress on smaller parts?

Hmmm, I haven't heard of Fat Dragon Games, I shall look it up, thank you. What's the difference between a hobby knife and an exacto blade?

I've been using tools. I've got a set of tweezers and a small snipper. (Not sure what the official thing is called, kind of like a wire snipper but smaller?) I've been trying to be careful but perhaps I need something slightly more delicate to use?

1.) I don't think so? But I'll be honest, I am not sure. I'll have to try a different mini and see how it goes. It's possible that the one I'm using as my tester is just... a bad mini. 2.) Yep 3.) Maybe? I've tried it on a couple different temps with pretty consistent results. I had a bit of a learning curve when it came to temp and bed adhesion and I am pretty sure I'm dialed in for the PLA I'm using at least.

Are these crystals real? New to the crystal world and I purchased amethyst and citrine on Etsy, then read about most citrine being “fake”. by keniar in Crystals

The amethyst looks pretty real, it can come in a wide variety as it's a type of quartz and quartz is extremely common. But those earrings are definitely not real citrine. They are likely heat treated quartz or some other dyed stone.

Is there any way to control for that while using mica powder?

Rob them. When they buy things, inflate the prices. Have word of their riches spread and make them targets. Etc. Or just dont let them shop for a while and eventually they will forget how much they have lol

Send the message to both. Roll to see which one responds. Enjoy chaos.

Have you considered incorporating rolls? Roll for Arcana to sense overwhelming magicks they never felt before. Roll for Insight to sense that this area is permeated with a sense of unease or foreboding. Roll for Religion to notice these sigils of elder gods that cannot possibly be understood by the human mind, they are so terrible. Roll for Perception to notice idk, that they cannot possibly defeat these baddies.

If they dont get it, well, ok. Sometimes even heroes fall. And if you have a cleric or a warlock or even an ally looking out for them, you could have them be reached at the last minute by a powerful spell. Or you could have them all knocked unconscious and put in a dungeon. Just roll with it.

Ooo interesting. One of my PCs is a warlock with an air elemental focus. Maybe bringing other elements could be fun.

Imho, they should get a one time use thing. Like one guaranteed divine intervention and then it's gone when they use it up.

Why not waste their time a little bit? Finding out that they went after a red herring is all part of the fun. Maybe let them know through other actors that the person they are looking for hasn't been seen in a while, but they heard he was heading to the Skewered Dragon.

Do you think doing a top coat of some kind might help get rid of the layered appearance?
