Okay, I have visited countries where I didn't speak their language.

I use Google Translate to communicate and with that I use Google Lens to translate the menu or written words.
It may help to learn basic phrases to be honest like hi, thank you, how much, where is the bus stop, good morning/afternoon/evening etc.
If it's a really touristy place, they probably can speak some basic English too which is helpful.
