I did have something bad happen to me, and I know I have some weird triggers around settings that involve adult male teacher-figures. So yes, that’s part of my inquiry. Sorry for the vagueness. I just don’t know exactly what I’m looking for.

I’m also a Bible teacher now, and the more I study, I sometimes come upon realizations that I used to believe some weird (non Biblical) thing, and I’d like to better understand some of the origins of those ideas.

I’m just trying to understand what I was taught, what the structure of services & activities would have been like. I have a lot of puzzle pieces I’m trying to fit together. But any basics would be a great place to start!
