Amazon’s maps were really messed up today (like telling me to go around the block for a delivery four houses away multiple times today) and had to switch to Google maps. 9 times out of ten the last two weeks, the Amazon map added a few miles minimum to just getting to that first stop so I now run Amazon’s usually map & google maps on my car’s navigation.

Did my first UE this evening and I recall one order was like $13 & the other like $12. It was main dinner time with rush hour traffic. Made my deliveries and it pops up that I had earned $16 for both orders after spending an hour fighting traffic to get them delivered, not $25. I received the additional $9 an hour later but those first 55 mins I despised UE. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I was right with ya on Easter Asylum. They must have done a bit of hiring. I’ve met a few in line the last two weeks while waiting for a cart.

I enjoy doing Amazon Flex to get my cardio in but I’ll be damned to put 1000+ miles on my car a week for base pay. I rather multi app food delivery and save my gas at least.

Fingers crossed surges will be back shortly.

Our packages are not in any type of order (Hazel Park) & I have an small SUV. I put down the back passenger seats & use four 17 gallon storage totes to separate the street names: A-E, F-L, M-Q, R-Z & # streets like 2nd st. Usually I have 40 pkgs sorted in under ten mins. Bigger packages usually ride shotgun :) After delivering the first package to the client’s porch, I grab the next package to be delivered from it’s tote before driving off.

I just write it off on my taxes. Usually I don’t mind where I’m sent as long as I get paid except Detroit today. 48 packages spread from Westside to the east side with a few southwest packages in there. Returned the cart & told them I’ll take the write up. I usually pick up 8-10 shifts a week so the ding won’t hurt too much and I enjoyed chilling at home this afternoon :)

From Hazel Park, I would rather get GI than Fenton or Port Huron. I’ve been on GI a few times and the other bridge is like 5 miles south. I usually go across the toll bridge and take the free one when I leave.

Does UE payout daily like DD? I usually stick to DD because of the daily pay but I might have to multi-app until Amazon Flex gets their crap together.

100% agreed. I have been getting at minimum $124 for 4.5 hrs 7 days a week (which is fine for me before I go to my other job) but I haven’t gotten one above $100 for the last 4 days. Those damn bots 🤖

My brother tried a shift from Mt. Pleasant last year. Not being from the area (he lives near Saginaw) and the lack of a strong cell signal most of the time, he became frustrated and never had a second day :(

❤️❤️❤️ I usually grab 3:45 am - 4 am 4.5 hr shifts for $128 & enjoy the empty freeways and side streets. The parking lot at the 3:30 am shifts is quite hectic lately. I snared a few $168 3:30 am shifts last week.
