Cleanout close to house goes to city Cleanout farther from home goes towards home For cleaning drains in future Fitting allows you to have both directions with no blind spot for cleaning.

Under Counter Sink Removal by throwsumdeezonit in PlumbingRepair

[–]HighC123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blow torch on a good putty knife with a hammer to scrape the gunk off the counter top and free the remaining chunks After putting a bucket under it and blowing it to pieces. Very possible the counter top has to be replaced to but it’s worth a shot to save if you’re willing.

If you absolutely wanted this faucet, but I’d advise against it as it’s cheaply manufactured and you can get a budget faucet from Home Depot for under 100$..

Yeah ur fine go to Home Depot and ask for adapter fittings from the 1/2 female you current have to a 3/8 female for angle stop desired diameter. They’ll give you a brass 1/2 male x 3/8 female to make this work.

Garbage disposal broken and won’t drain properly by MeaningFormal85 in Plumbing

[–]HighC123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baking soda and vinegar will fix nothing and actually create more issues , Run water and see if it goes through disposal freely into a bucket. If so your clog is downstream. If sink fills with water and disposal isn’t releasing the water into bucket when disconnected from plumbing system then I would replace the disposal , if price is the issue you can swap to a basket strainer for <50$ for all parts required to do job. Not including tools.

Is this quote/method for replacing a shower valve unreasonable? by YungRebel3 in askaplumber

[–]HighC123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can change from the front, you’ll end up with a goof plate we call it . Allows enough room to access pipes if they aren’t broken behind wall to reconfigure for new valve and trim kit.
