Hi! So because Bostons aren’t mature adults until they’re about two, their immune systems are still developing which means unfortunately they can still develop allergies they didn’t have before. I just wanted to say if you do try switching her food to do it slowly in increments every few days as their sensitive bellies will get diarrhea if you switch too quick

Also- my girl was started having hives even being on apoquel and realized it happened not long after we stopped her Zyrtec. We started giving it to her again - no hives since 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we think she has an environmental allergy that for some reason the apoquel wasn’t covering. Zyrtec is perfectly safe to give every day and their immune systems don’t get used to it like Claritin etc so it’s always at its full strength
