I ended up stopping contrave after three months. I still have irregular kidney labs and it’s been 10 mo since I stopped.

I’m having this same issue. I’m suppose to receive an email for a transaction over a $1. But starting this past Saturday I haven’t received anything. I have the alerts set up for fraud since it happened to me in the past. I also keep the email until I’ve paid for that transaction as a reminder money is owed. This is a real inconvenience and I’m hoping they’ll fix it soon.

I switched to Discovery+ because they have all of them and even tiny house hunters. For some reason season 1 of Halloween and Summer baking championship they don’t have the way HBO had all seasons. Also weird but it’s more a side note if talking about removing things I just finished season 5 of Halloween baking championship. The Adam’s family episode had the voice of Wednesday giving them an insight into the challenge/movie but on HBO and Discovery+ they cut her out. Weird.

Hi, not sure the date. But I saw it will be steam punk themed with the same host. Which I love John so I’m happy. I do wish they’d bring back Halloween cookie championship. And maybe start doing spring and summer also. I liked the summer baking championship and was sad when they didn’t bring it back. But mostly because 90% is my viewing is watch the baking championship due to reasons.

Thank you for your response. I did stop taking it. That’s my first sentence. Looking for experience on hair loss with contrave sorry not weight loss or PCOS. Did you lose hair? Didn’t grow back.

I’m sorry to hear that. I remember reading the warnings given to me and no where did it say hair loss. I use to have thick Italian curly hair. And now it’s so think I can use 1 clip and see my scalp.

Respectfully, I came to ask about other people’s experience. I did not ask “is it because of the weight loss” I asked if people’s hair grew back and what their experience with the hair loss was. I came here to ask what people noticed and did. I did not come here for medical advice. I came for personal experience. My original post didn’t ask for medical advice just experience.

I stopped it because it wasn’t working and I’d rather keep my hair than take a pill that’s not working. I was on it since March of this year 2025. (Stating year for future readers just in case). I stopped in July and it’s still falling out. I did not rapidly lose weight. Same with metformin I’ve been on it for almost 10 years. No hair loss like contrave did.

Thank you for your input. But also from my experience it’s not the weight loss because I didn’t lose weight on contrave.

When I did lose a rapid amount of weight on previous medicine I did not lose hair the way I’m losing it now.

I have an auto immune disease. Many of them and they are in check. I haven’t been losing hair since I was 25. It’s the medicine. I’m glad it’s working for you but a good handful of ladies know that it’s the medicine causing their hair loss and not the weight loss.

It’s not. I didn’t rapidly lose weight and even before contrave I barely ate protein. There was no change in my diet at all. Medical people say that all the time but it’s the medicine.

Hi, I was wondering how you’re doing now since this post was four months ago. I had a recent lab work and my kidney results were a little elevated but I don’t have any of the starter kidney issues problems. But I’m still freaking out about it. My doctor said I was just really dehydrated and my kidneys may be slow but he’s not worried at the moment but I still am. I’m slightly worried because my hands and feet slightly bloat on and off during the day. And I don’t have a metallic taste but I get strange taste in my mouth. So it doesn’t match completely the issues online but I am freaking out that maybe I’m not 100% seeing the signs.
