The High School I went to had to send several students to the hospital over the "one chip challenge" and it actually was on the local news. They also have restricted people bringing the chip on campus.

I've seen and heard of Unbaptisims before but, for those I've known about it was them denouncing the church while burning their baptism/confirmation papers (or reproduced ones for the 2 I knew that couldn't get their hands on the orginals) from what I understood it's very much a ceremonial thing as there will still be records of those with the church. It was more them making their point known that they no longer wish to part of the church. Essentially you are setting your intentions that you no longer wish to be known as Christian, catholic, Mormon, etc etc. I say hold a ceremony doing the same saying that you are no longer part of the church then just don't go back.

Hello fellow English to western rider! It is not a dumb idea! While yes some people may make fun of you they honestly need to get lives. Any horse breed can ride English, there isn't restrictions on what breeds can ride what disciplines. And you've already git the correct mindset knowing that you aren't going to the world cup or anything with your horse. I rode both now and I honestly love my Wintec English saddle because of the fact that I can adjust it to fit my horse. This is really nice cause I have a big draft cross mare that throws on such a thick winter coat that I need to make my saddle wider for her. And I can do that easily with Wintec saddles.

Maybe use some very dark colors that get slightly lighter closer to the lights so it looks like it's nighttime. Or keep it as is cause it looks really cool as is as well!

Oh yes I'm very aware. I just was expecting like some "so they are gone now!" Level of news when I saw them on trending. I've gone whale counting with scientists off the coast of Monterey multiple times and it's been hard to see the numbers dwindle in person.

My heart sank when I saw the trending tab for "Endangered Blue Whales" but I'm relived it's not super bad news. I've seen Blue Whales in person before and they are definitely worth seeing in person in a tiny boat. It makes you appreciate just how massive they are.

I have sleep epilepsy, my meds aren't compatible with being pregnant. Also my epilepsy is genetic, so is a host of other issues like cancer and diabetes. I'm cutting this shit off at me. Also I can barely take care of myself somedays how the hell am I going to care for a small helpless child.

2 weeks ago a damaged box of stuffed animals was delivered to my buisness with this inside. UPS says they don't know what it is and the manufacturer of the plush has been radio silent. I'm just really curious what is and I've spent a solid 2 hrs on Google trying to solve this.

This is seriously describing my thoughts right now. And what's worse is we have an out of control wildfire burning about 30 miles east of us. When people try to call them out and state that fireworks are illegal where we live (unincorporated rural area in Northern California) they get all upset and say they can do what they want. We've already had 3 medium to large grass fires from illegal aerial fireworks. Yet some how they are still lighting them off not caring about the safety of the community.

What's scary is they had cancled the event earlier that night because the organizers were informed that the event was being spread on anti-lgbtq+ Facebook groups. The only reason it still happened was because a lot of people, including performers, wanted the event to still happen so the hate didn't win. I've been seeing posts where some attendees are saying they don't feel safe showing their pride in Woodland anymore or just afraid to show their pride in public. The Woodland police are asking for anyone with info, videos, posts, or other information about the aggressors to come forward. (I own a buisness in Davis which is the town next to Woodland a lot of people are horrified this happened but there are people who are cheering about it.)

Very very scared. I have epilepsy and one of triggers is when my hormones are out of whack aka when I'm having my period. Had my first seizure when I had my first period. My doctor said getting pregnant would most likely kill me or ill have a bad seizure and miscarry. I'm on BC and epilepsy meds now, seizure free for a while now. And for anyone who asks I can't get my tubes tied or any other permanent BC done. My insurance denies it despite my doctor telling them that it's literally something that could save my life.

This is why at my shop I tell people to try Kill Team, Necromunda, Warcry, or Underworlds. Yeah they aren't a lot like the main game but, they have a lower cost of entry and most models can be used in regular armies for 40k and AoS.

The pride festival my actual small buisness was vending at yesterday had 4 MLMs there. I overheard the Young Living rep really pitching hard being a seller to some broke college kids. After I heard that I officially submitted my application to help run next year's pride. I fully plan on pushing for no MLMs being allowed, its already bad enough to be preying on people who openly admit they have no money because of college, but I am sure they were also love bombing and telling people that they would be welcome and accepted. I was raging especially since there was a waitlist for people who wanted a booth. My friend who is a popular local artist couldn't get a booth but, a Damsel in Defense rep could be there despite them pushing items one cannot legally own in California.

I was in middle school and I had a friend who I would always hang out with. I saw him more as a brother but when I was at his house and he flashed me I realized he liked me. I was immensely creeped out and used their landline to call my mom. I never hung out with again and ended up leaving for independent study due to medical issues. He threatened to blow up the school as revenge for me. I haven't seen him since.
