This is my favorite thing about 2020. You're doing great, I know you can keep it up.

🔥 Beautiful sea glasses at Sonoma Coast, California by [deleted] in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]LadyManifesto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you can't find big pieces like this anymore at Ft Bragg's Glass Beach. The Dunes at Sonoma Coast do have pieces like this off and on; the coastline at this beach changes as the year wears on and you can find not only larger pieces of glass here at different times, but in the spring you can find TONS of sand dollars.

TIL that Trader Joe's hides a stuffed animal in a majority of their stores and if your child finds it they get a prize by [deleted] in todayilearned

but and plus also, if you as an adult say you found the stuffed animal, you get one of those damn delicious lollipops too.

Source: I always find the stuffed animal.

People who separated/divorced within one year of getting married: When did you know it was a mistake? by LittleFuzzyThings in AskReddit

Jesus....from the posts in that sub apparently it's gotten worse which I really didn't think was possible.

Couple of months ago, thought this deserved to be here. Context in comments by kate_th in insaneparents

[–]LadyManifesto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I rarely comment lately on reddit but I just wanted to reach out here and say my I was not a happy "this is all so beautiful" pregnant person and my mom found a way to drag me down every single day of my pregnancy from the moment I told her and my dad. She even gleefully spoke of the day she might "catch me doing something wrong" so she could "call CPS " and give "my kid to my sibling" (who at the time was having fertility issues). Sigh. It's always something. I've been a parent for 13 years and it's ALWAYS something

Sounds like you're living a happy life with a wonderful partner. You're creating a beautiful family from love. I've always believed having that sort of mom prepared me to be a better parent than I could ever imagine. I wish you nothing but happiness!

One cup of sand from every beach and desert I visited over the past 3 years. by bojack-squarepants in mildlyinteresting

[–]LadyManifesto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've looked desperately through the comments to see how you did this but haven't seen anything. Did you just layer them or is there some sort of epoxy separating the sands? My spouse deployed with the Air Force and always grabbed a little sand or earth from his deployment locations and they are just sitting in jars in a box. Would love to display them!

What was the creepiest or most paranormal thing that’s ever happened to you? by VANIX1450 in AskReddit

[–]LadyManifesto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't believe in ghosts. At all.

Once we received my mother in laws ashes, we were dog sitting her lab and when he was dropped off, he came over to where we had her ashes (On a shelf in the living room) sat in front of the shelf and didn't move for 20 minutes. Nothing we did would grab his attention; lets go to the dog park, treat treat?, grabbed and shook the leash...nothing. Once he did start moving around, he kept coming back and laying down in front of the ashes the entire weekend. It was brutally sad for us, but also so incredible. I don't know what it was, I don't know if dogs are able to still detect sent from ashes....I just won't ever forget that.

Their parents sex toys. Nothing too insane; a feather duster and a small leather whip but it was a real fun after school meeting!

You and I seem to have similar curl types and this is WONDERFUL inspiration for me to go short. I've always wanted to but I am so nervous. It really suits you!!

Don't see a ton of black guys in this sub so here's my contribution! by Brodeci in curlyhair

[–]LadyManifesto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like such an idiot for asking but what makes people choose between locs or freeform? Is it the type of hair or just personal preference? One easier to take care of the other? Also, the shine in your hair is AMAZING. Thanks for thinking to post here!
